I know, I was just trying to draw it out with that comment. Put a little wood on the fire and make one of the mouths chime in with info they shouldn’t be spewing.
Last night nothing was in the war room so why wouldn’t I think it was deleted, also I’m not jibby, he uses my WiFi occasionally though.
It was all moved yesterday at some point. Inti the amd dyno queen thread
Yeah I found it, it gotta kinda sporadically placed into that thread. Thanks for keeping it alive, more people who know the truth about Chris the better, BTW since when are you a mod?
Happy St. Pattys day!
It’s all in that thread. I’m not a mod but I can split out arguments and move them to other threads. I can do so as a result of being the quarter mile list number enterer.
Can’t do much of anything else (nor do I want to to) but I agreed to help god since he is not always on the site. When stuff like that runs wild and buries actual good content like Jon’s update (jon contacted me and asked for help) , it’s nice to be able to send the brawlers into the war room and allow the content to stand here in the main forum. I was happy to do so, but then you, killeds4 and chrisk fucked it up again.
The reason it was added to that amd dyno thread is because if you’ll notice, that one too was the child of this thread after that earlier battle was split out of this one a few days ago.
I guess deleting would solve it but then people would cry (like you did). The deleting can only be done by the site owner god anyway.
So we were told that the RS4PER car and the other car were going to be on the dyno (independant dyno, not the AMD dyno, however when AMD is paying the dyno operator for their time, I don’t see how independant it is) and on the dragstrip this past weekend.
Haven’t heard anything, until RS4per started a thread on quattrofail. Showed the other beta car running on the dyno, pig rich and blasting a fireball. No numbers, no timeslips, no nothing. Guess we’re still waiting.
Not sure why these guys make statements on timelines. Just go and do your prepatation, then launch when you have the info. I seriously don’t get promising information and then just going silent as a monk through the time you said you’d have it.
The dyno video is pretty much useless other than showing a bunch of grey or white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I guess it could be condensation, but that would mean the car is probably pretty cold, no? If so I can’t see them going WOT on the dyno with a cold car.
Interestingly if you scroll through RS4PER’s smugmug, there’s a video that shows a 2008 Avus Silver Ti Package AMD supercharged RS4 on the dyno. That’s his car I believe. Wonder why he is telling us to be patient for dyno testing when it appears to already be done? Looks like some dynojet facility in the area. Of course maybe the 1st beta car (also Avus) just has a Ti package front grille on it.
Dude, it snowed and rained, pacific raceways was closed.
oh snap it snowed and rained on the independant dyno too? (the one where the cars dyno’d in the videos)
I don’t know or really care about the planned Dyno thing they had, I already know what they Dyno, I want to see them run. I know other people who were planning to go and they were bummed on the weather. Oh pretty sure that Dyno vid is jasons mustang. My gf took a pic next to it last week.

Yellow line on floor in both the video of the avus rs4 with ti grille, and the photo where the owner mentions the shit type fan at the ‘dynojet’
Only video I saw was the one with the flames out the exhaust on the mustang, two pulls.
Isn’t this supercharger suppose to be water to air cooled?

…and it was cold enough to snow.
Why would the owner be bitching about the one fan?

thats because you didnt RTFS

because they live their life one dyno at a time on quattrofail?
people always bitch about the fans at dynos. As if the numbers the machine prints out tell you how fast your car is lol. The only printer you should be really worried about is the one at the end of the dragstrip, or the one on your home computer after you review your GPS based performance. I really could not, if you paid me, care any less about a dyno than I do right now. My care level is 0.0, to quote Dean Wormer.
I just want to see these guys post some information already. The kit was supposedly ready for production ‘in the next few weeks’ and that was back in spring 2012.
I may be doing a dyno run in April for fun. Some of the guys on the Texas boards are trying to get a group together for a dyno day so I figured I would join in for the heck of it. If there are enough guys to bring the price down that is.
I saw a DG APR supercharged RS4 at JHM today. It had JHM DP/CB and sounded outfreakinstanding.
It was cool
could be sharmut. He bought the apr supercharger from another jhm customer who went jhm supercarged.
Interestingly, if it is, here is that supercharger on the previous owners car, also with jhm exhaust. This is catless.
Jhm exhaust is mu louder with the supercharger on there.
Good showing for the APR kit there.
Wonder what time Keith would have ran if he had a proper exhaust that day at the track…and put the back seat back in.
This was on EPL’s page this morning, no results but they did say AMD supercharger kit is now available. Fwiw.
that was a week or two ago. They went to a dynojet facility in the seattle area and tested
that car ^^^ the stage 1.0 car. Intercooled, more boost, upgraded fuel pumps
and the stage 0.9 car. Basica kit, no cooling, stock fuelling.
They haven’t shared the information on either car.
This past Saturday, March 23, they took the car above to the Pacific Raceway in Washington. The car appeared to have lightweight wheels, full catless exhaust and jason@amd driving it. It was car #451 on Saturday.
Conditions? Perfection. Density Altitude -1500 !!!
So the stars were aligned for an EPIC result. Looking forward to hearing about it. If they’re pushing 15PSI as they hinted, they’re making upwards of 550 whp and that should spell incredible results.
