pretty cool. Really flies through 1st and 2nd.

That launched hard…

Yup that’s my goal when I graduate.

property/retirement first, a new car is flushing money down the toliet. If you can invest early and heavy then you will put yourself in a position to be able to enjoy frivalous shit like cars later in life much more securely.

Honestly I had the same thought process, graduate, get job, get sick new audi (I was thinking the TT tdi or TTRS or an S5). But its probably the worst track to go down.

Yeah that’s what I keep hearing unfortunately. It’s just weird to thing that after all this schooling and making that icy money, I’ll still be looking for a car under 25k. The good thing is ME’s around Chicago are in demand so at least I won’t be in a position where I’ll be selling tv’s for another 5 years.

They aren’t making any more land…but they make 20 million new cars every year. Supply and demand says none of us should own a good car.

Of course you can also pass on all the good stuff while you’re young in order to enjoy it when you’re older. Problem is
a) you may not be fit to enjoy it when you’re older
b) you may not live long enough to even see those days

So it’s a catch 22. If I had a dollar for every client I’ve seen who saves and scrimps their whole life, only to retire when they’re pushing 70, but now aren’t very mobile or able to have much fun with that money…I’d be able to buy B6JoeS4 an RS5 today.

lol, thats a good way to put it

hopefully I’ll be in a similar position as my mom and her father, both retired young (52 & 60) so I have some good resources on retirement planning

if that was a DSG car, where did the 5500RPM launch come from?

That can’t be OEM programming.

the car may be tuned, but FYI the RS5 launches off 5500 hold RPM or so.

Different to the S4’s 3200 (which doesn’t appear to be faster than mashing the throttle off idle)

rs5 holding its own

they’re fucking cool cars. I’m not entirely sure that they’re worth $10,000 more than the M3/C63 but they’re cool cars.

I have to say owning an RS car is pretty interesting. The market on them is so strange because there are hardly any of them out there and they’re reasonably in demand. Prices have gone UP over the past 12 months, if that’s possible.
