Yo, roughly how many miles on this TB with your K&N air filters?
Over 50,000. They’d never been cleaned, TB’s or filters. I just cleaned my filters after about 30k miles. I keep the stock filters around to give me time to clean and dry the K&N filters properly.
Just building a reference. The TB doesn’t look as bad as I would have expected with 50k miles using the K&Ns.
Any residue is due to the pcv system. Inside of the intake tubes are squeaky clean, no dust or grit.
