RSchip tuning piggy back system?

I have done some reading and seems like everyone that has bought this tuner has had great results, I was wondering if anyone here had gone this route and what the results were. The RSchip is from Italy so I’m assuming most info will be on UK forums and such but just wondering if anyone here had heard about them. Heres the link. http://www.rschip.com/chiptuning/audi/a6/4.2-i-v8-40v-335hp
They are one of the only tuners I have found that have a tune for my 2004 A6 C6 4.2 V8. JHM said that I need to have a shop read my ECU for certain codes which is impossible in japan without paying some money for them to do anything or get vagcom and plug it into my obdll which will cost me about $300 to do just to see if they can make me a tune. If they cant then I have wasted hundreds of dollars for nothing. This program does not void warrantee and does not mess with the stock computer. Its more like a piggy back system that will self adjust a/f mixture and timing as well as other things. Anyways just checking to see who knows of them.

Those boxes dont get a real good rap. They make big claims and from what I have ever seen they dont deliver. What most people say is that they just give the car a hot throttle and are no faster

The JHM tune has lots of stuff that that box wont get you. But you have lots of obsticles. You might be able to just get a cable from JHM and read off your ecu yourself.

You might just be better of getting nothing if your worried about it too much

I came across a couple forums with actual dyno results before and after and there was a 370Z guy that made 20hp and about 15tq, now im not saying its a gerantee but he was not the only one using it. The reason why most results were small was because they were on 2000cc and lower engines so 5-10hp does not seem alot but then they are only pushing 150hp stock so thats a good increase for a lower powered car. My car already has 345hp so an extra 15-20 would be great. Id love a jhm tune but they dont seem to want to do much since im in japan

I dont want to be too much in the negitive on this. But a 350Z computer and the audi motronic system are worlds different. The 350 and stuff like evo subaru even most domestics run a simple system were you can change just one map and make a big difference. If you want to try it. Go for it and let us know how it turns out. I just want for you to know the huge difference between the two. These boxes havent done well on the motronic system even on the older audis.
