S6/RS6 Hybrid? :o

Did anyone hear about the Audi S6/RS6 Hybrid I5 combined 38MPG sedan that MTM just released? Lol, jk.

Ok, so seriously… I’m thinking about buying RS6 front and rear bumpers because it’s actually cost effective, my front bumper has some clips broken/slight cracking from previous owner/etc and why not the rear as well IF it makes sense? Right now aftermarket RS6 diffusors are around $180-200, and the whole rear bumper is maybe $300, all OEM and looks great. Buuuut what is fitment looking like with S6 fenders (front and back)? Would it require RS6 fenders too, some fender work on the existing fenders or good to go from the beginning?

I’m just curious because this might be a doable project without spending too much coin.

I need to replace both bumpers on mine (the rear has cracked plastic from the sun, the front one has holes drilled in it from the previous owner), so I’d be very interested in buying these too, where did you find them?

Through international eBay, sometimes decent prices will pop up on these things. I’m told it would require some fender work.

Any idea what kind of fender work? (I know that’s the question you asked when you started this thread, but I was hoping you got more info since then).

If it’s just cutting a little metal away or slightly bending it, no big deal. But if it requires extensive work, like welding and body-filler and repainting, that’s a whole other level of project.

I’m not too certain on the exact fender work. I think just bending the fenders, but I’m told that’ll only be plausible for the front bumper - not the rear. The rear would simply need a S-line RS6 diffusor, which looks like there’s several types: genuine RS6 (won’t fit), RS6 S-line C6 (06-08) and RS6 S-line C6.5 (09-11).
