Hi there, I had my wipers stop working the other day and lights not working correctly so got myself a replacement light/rain sensor for the S6. Old part was part number: 4E0955559C H12, SW 4E0910557A and replacement I could find I used was/is 4E0955559C H13 SW 4E0910557A so almost identical part numbers.
Old gel pad and sensor all removed glass cleaned and new pad and replacement sensor fitted fine.
The VCDS software coding for the original on module 2 - 4E0 910 557 A is software coded as 00146221 which I have set the replacement as such. The replacement came with software coding as 00141886. The new one with the original code or the code that it came with works the wipers just fine now as they were not working, everything apart from the side lights work at all, either from the manual rotating switch on the dash or in automatic mode they just don’t come on. Is there a programming step I have missed or a suggested software code that might work in VCDS? The default I believe for a standard glass A6/A8 Uses 00141886, that makes no difference either, I tried.
Is there another software code I need to use or any other suggestions for what I may need to update with VCDS?. Its on a 2006 UK Model S6, C6 Avant, standard window glass. Its currently part fixed but needs the side lights to be working for MOT (local laws).
When I set the foglights to “on” but pulling the switch out/back the full fog light comes on just fine and the DRL’s (5 Led’s each side) are all fine just not the side lights.
Any knowledge on what is wrong or a correct code if the ones I have are wrong?
