seriously, my favorite car i have ever owned. its so honest, it doesn’t pretend to be anything. i bought it for 2k bucks in october and put 6k miles on it. i fucking love it
I will tell my friend that. He drives a Cayenne Turbo S now and I reckon he had more fun in the Mk4.
i wouldnt doubt it. i love cheap cars, if they suck they suck, big deal it was cheap. if they turn out to be awesome, you just made out.
and unlike the typical mk4 owner who stances his car with 300 dollar coilovers, i have slowly began replacing everything mechanical in the car. all new brakes, suspension components, timing chains, gaskets, water pump, etc etc. its not a looker but its perfect in its own way. i try to do a good amount of it myself too. i did the chains last sunday. took me a day but the satisfaction you get makes it worth it

I wish I had never sold my vr6 Jetta. Sold it sight unseen with 130k miles on it. Awesome car that I spent way too much money modifying like every other car since. Supercharged, full votex body kit, pss9’s, RH wheels. Last I heard she was still treating the new owner to hassel free operation.

the first with a JHM Clutch setup (stage 3, 4 was not out yet lol)
first with lightweight pulley
first with JHM intake manifold
first with the JHM BBK
third with nitrous even though i never sprayed it due to my chains
3rd or 4th with the JHM supercharger, dont remember exactly
etc etc lol
yup this one is staying for the long haul. that vr is not exactly powerful but it is silky smooth.

Yes for a B6 your car looked really nice. I like B6 S4’s dont get me wrong I just would ditch the 4.2L for a 3.6L vr6 turbo as soon as i bought it… And your interior is perfect I have the same steering wheel in my car and love it! I love the B6 recaros I’ve sold about 33 sets to the B6 and B7 A4 guys second hand on some B6’s ive parted out!

saki was teasing me in another thread about if I’d bought a B8 yet. I seriously thought about it. Took one for a test drive, thought it was pretty cool, handled very nicely, all shiny and new.
91 just listed a bunch of reasons (esp about the interior) that I didn’t pull the trigger. That and I cleaned up the B6 to list it for sale privately… cleaned it up so well it was like new so I kept it for myself lol.

I am not the only one. I had a mk3 Jetta VR6 which I got rid of many years ago, but I wish I hadn’t. Murdered out, modded out, SCed. We still tell the stories about it to this day…
