SAI resistor size?

Hey guys been dormant here for a while. Finally getting the car back together. My question is has anyone done the sai delete and used an i like resistor on the connector so the ECU doesn’t throw a code for readiness and whatnot?

I do have an APR tune and I know the JHM tune codes this out so no cel is present. I don’t want to necessarily buy the JHM tune just to be able to code this out when I already have a tune and I’m happy with it. So anyone have any information on a size. I guess when I get the car running I can throw a DMM on it and measure voltage and current to figure out a correct value just wasn’t sure if someone already had the information. Thanks guys!

Evil glad to see the car is comming along. I think I have information on the resistor somewhere I will try to look on the computer to see. The one note I have is that you can put in a resistor but sooner or later you will still get codes as you wont have the pump working and that will give you a cel.

If you are happy with the tune great APR is a good tune. From a outside perspective the JHM tune will give you a noticable bump in power if you make the switch. Its not going to be just a tune to turn off the CEL for the SAI. But the SAI system part of the JHM tune will turn all that off so you dont have any issues. Add in the LA feature on the JHM tune and there are a few cool features that might make the switch well worth your time.

Well cars been running for couple days now and haven’t thrown a cel for the sai yet. My readiness is botched but no need to worry for emissions for another year. Let me know if you do come across that information for the resistor size.

I didnt forget. but thanks for the reminder. You shouldnt even see a SAI light or fault until the weather gets cold enough for the system to actually kick on.
