Saki- surprised you haven't commented on the antics of this post...

Ben derailing a simple thread where dude asks about experiences with JHM for CC … never ends…

I need a Saki rant with my coffee lol.

[QUOTE=BenSti;8216959]Take it to a shop with trained Audi mechanics, AKA 034motorsport.

[QUOTE=BenSti;8220172]Oh, so now someone can’t offer to help out a local member for free if they want?

I suggested to take it to 034Motorsport vs JHM because the price is very similar and 034 has trained Audi techs.

[QUOTE=BenSti;8220278]Nobody who has commented here has had JHM do a carbon clean on their car. Neither have I, you are right. Perhaps I am a little bias due to my experiences with them and the fact that I just worked on a car they did a $7500 timing chain guide job on and was gushing oil and power steering fluid and had a vacuum leak.

Just trying to give some helpful advice.

[QUOTE=BenSti;8224559]Axle is correct here. I have photo proof of everything I have said here. Not to mention the owner of the car would likely be happy to give a statement to it’s accuracy. It is not just bullshit, it is from experiences. There is a history here of negligent, careless work. Just look at the oil cooler Axle had, lines cut wrong so it blew out. Mick had a similar thing happen (granted the lines didn’t blow out thankfully), the car I worked on had screw clamps on everything and was losing power steering fluid and oil at such a rate it coated a large portion of the underbody. Even the fuel like had a screw clamp (not safe). I am not saying they don’t know what they are doing, obviously anyone who successfully rebuilds a Audi V8 is pretty good at what they are doing. My point is that, from what I have seen, there doesn’t appear to be as much care and attention to detail as you would expect from a shop.

My recommendation for 034 has come from what I have seen and heard from many local people and friends. I recall only once having heard a complaint about their work and they quickly took care of it.

As I have stated before, any comments I post here are my own personal opinions and not necessarily the opinions or feelings of EBWerks Inc or any other company.
