Saw Some JHM Twins in the Wild

Had 2 b6 s4 avants come to our weekly car meet last night. Very cool! Haven’t seen or heard JHM S4’s in person so it was a nice treat ;D The one on the left had a tune, catless downpipe, and resonated exhaust. The one on the right had a tune, catted downpipe, and resonated exhaust. They both sounded AWESOME, fairly different between the two, the catless one gives a really sharp bark at higher rpms, whereas the catted one is a lot more reserved.

I’m impressed by how the jhm exhaust retains the european sound. I know sometimes if you do a big magnaflow exhaust or something it sounds like an american v8. I’ll have to get them on this site, we were talking about the supercharger… :stuck_out_tongue:

Sweet!! That JHM/FI exhaust is very refined. I personally prefer the raw sound of the catless/non resonated setup!

What the hell…two avants? That’s pretty awesome. I see B6/7 Avants about 4x per year (other than Axel)

Yea, I think catless with resonated was my favorite combo. They both sounded better than the c63 that was there. Although i’ve yet to hear non-res in person, must sound animalistic lol.

So uncommon Saki! Was surprised to see 2 almost identical avants roll up… Then I saw “sebring” on their exhaust tips when I went to say hi ;D

I’ve spent a good part of the morning looking at prices on b6 s4’s :stuck_out_tongue:

I had catless 2.5" downpipes with resonated Fast Intentions. It was pretty mean. I loved going downtown Toronto in it. The sound would echo off the buildings and could be heard for blocks. A friend was about 400 yards away from Yonge St where I ripped down towards the Gardiner, and he was at his office at Bay/Front and called to ask if I was driving downtown once. Pretty crazy.
