So doing alittle reading before going to bed and ran into this goldmine of a scam artist… I know that Dru has already gotten in contact asking to confirm ecu information, And to also warn potential buyers.

Can’t take all the credit for the screenshots and or the digging into finding the other ads, as I was going to wait till morning to post but when the other ads and his workplace where brought to my attention, I thought I would share asap, hopefully save someone some money!

So what this piece of shit Ian Nelson is saying is. He stole a jhm tune copied it to an ecu and called it his own and then now is selling the jhm ecu trying to make more money of not knowing how to do anything but steal from people. The only thing he is smart enough to know is his name sucks and nobody would buy shit from him so he is trying to sell a stolen jhm tune. Ian Nelsons of the world are just talentless piles of shit that feed off the bottom of hard working people.

I’ve almost done business with him in the past since he’s not too far from me. It was for an ABS module repair and Airbag module repair on an A4.

Thnx for posting this. Add reflect tuning to the list of shitcan scam artists. Always good to call out these asshats and make a permanent record of their fraud.

I’d have to call fraud indeed. You’d have to suspect there’s no customer here. What’d make more sense is that this scammer bought an ecu knowingly to collect how to tune and knowing it’s immobilized, unlocked it to try and make a gain at some suckers expense. If this wasn’t a fraudulent activity he’d have just wrote over the JHM file and sent the ECU and the non existent customer on his way.

Also, in his VCDS screenshot it says “4.2 V8/5V JHM SC…” Isn’t it suppose to say some weird displacement like 4.4 or 5.0?

Different versions have said different things in the title 4.2, 4.4, 4.6, 4.7 etc

I don’t quite understand what he’s selling. If you sell a jhm ecu it just flat won’t work on any other car so it’s a waste of time.
