Sharpie R33 GTR

This car is out of Misawa, Japan. I used to see it driving around. Not saying it is awesome in any way, but at least an interesting idea. This is what happens when you can buy an R33 GT-R for less than 10K. All sorts of wild cars dirt cheap. I had a 93 WRX and had painted it Olive Drab with a big white star on each side of it. It was a beater so fuck it. Besides, there were only 40 of us Army guys on the Air Force/Navy base 1500 Airmen and 700 Sailors. I painted it for the annual Army/Navy flag football game that we had. It is registered to an American, hence the "Y"ankee plates.

There was a Lambo with the same thing a while back. It looks pretty cool.

I guess its erasable :-[

Saw this on reddit a couple days ago. There was 15hrs into doing the front bumper alone…

I’ll tell you what I couldn’t do for 15 hrs…No way.

I think the lambo was a wrap. It was down in Miami FL if I remember right but I didn’t see it when I applied there for a job.

The orignal sharpie lambo was done a few years before this R33 IIRC. It was sharpie done right on the paint. I think they created a wrap of it later because it got so popular.

"Every time someone sees a picture of this car they don’t know what to say and end up asking to see more pictures. So here they are for everyone to enjoy! The car was actually done in sharpie markers on the paint and then finished with a clear coat for protection. It took about 2 weeks total. Prestige (Lamborghini Miami) definitely shocked a lot of people when this car was first seen in California during the Concorso Italiano/Pebble Beach week. It attracted attention good and unfortunately bad everywhere it went. "

This site says it was wrapped first before the sharpie so IDK what to believe ha http://www.autosupershield.com/sharpie-lamborghini.php

The cool part about the lambo is that there are no designs on the whole car that are the same.

I will say the first time I saw that R33 was around late 09 early 2010 when I was stationed in Misawa. It pulled up at the post office, and I was perplexed. I was like ??? , then I was all :-\ , and I finally I was just :-[ .
