There were 50+ people for this first turnout but I was happy with the s6’s performance on 500 treadwear snow tires and my 4th autocross day. Heaviest car on the track besides the modified chevy truck. Defiantly held its own!

You can really hear the V10 sing in that video. I wasn’t able to see the list placements but you could tell the V10 was much faster than the A6 lol.

Thanks for posting that. The wife and I really need to get some more track days under our belts. We haven’t had our cars out since 2017 at VIR (new babies/twins). Maybe we should look into Autocross for now.

Twins = no sleep and almost no time for cars… Autocross is fun. I just don’t like beating on my car that much.

I hit a couple of cones on one lap that took out my front drivers fender liner. Ripped the whole thing out and split it in half.

While under the car removing some of the remnants, I noticed I blew my inner CV boot on the drivers axle as well.

Drove it like a rental, now I have to pay

Ah, fun memories! The fender liners are ridiculously priced… imported mine from Lithuania because I refused to pay $600 for some fender liners… and the CV axle repair was fun for my wallet too after I had to get it rebuilt. :slight_smile:

I’m not sure how reliable it is but I did see a pair of front axles on eBay for our cars for $125.

I think you can get a standard A6 fenderliner as well. I think I remember someone saying they were a bit cheaper.

They don’t fit I believe based upon memory when I had to replace one (my left was 4F0821133T). S6 fender is wider.

Looking at ETKA:
left–4F00821133_
right–4F0821134_
where the _ is apparently the revision/model differentiator.

Beyond that, I cannot tell for certain.

I am a little nervous about buying axles that are not OEM, OEM rebuilt boots, or raxles.

I installed an ebay $11 liner. Fit like shit but for temporary is ok. Lil getto lol

Axles are usually ok depending of course what kind but after market exles are usually not too bad.

LOL about the ebay liner. My only few experiences with ebay is you can find several things for cheap but they are cheap for a reason.
