Rumor has it that the new one, if it ever happens will most likely be a showcase of the new modern hybrid/electric technology. Like a rolling advertisement of Ford’s forward thinking. But that’s just speculation on the forums, but it seems fitting.

+1 Saw one when they first came out at a stealership. It belonged to the owner and he would display it on the showroom floor.

lets hope this revival sees some improvements in reliablility. nothing worse than spending all that money and looking like a douche broken down somewhere.
Same here. The owner was a family friend and a buddy and I would go drool over it any chance we got.

There’s a guy locally who comes out to a few driving events we have. He has 2 Ford GTs. One he drives, and one he has on display at his house. It has like 30 miles on it.
They were around $130,000 new…and now routinely sell for $200,000-250,000 depending on provenance. Excellent car. I imagine the re-release will hamper that somewhat.
Would be nice for a rerelease to drop the current prices down.

LOL yes or was worse when they were all together at one spot because one would start to kinda maybe say something and the other would cut in and speak for all of them by saying we would love to say more. But then just trail off into saying nothing.
