lol these cars are no joke if you find yourself lined up against one. Don’t laugh and don’t feel bad when you lose.

8.6s 1/4 mile on a FWD? Wtf?

that’s like 13.3

What’s like 13.3? Did you not see the 4 in 1/4? It’s not an 8 (as in 1/8).

That’s neat if you’re into that kind of a thing. I’m extremely picky when it comes to exterior and interior combo when deciding to purchase a car. It has to have character.

I was going to say we’re in a wrong platform here with our S4s and RS4s, but then I’ve read that thread a bit more.

It is indeed 1/8th time

No, those are 1/4 mile times.
many of those care were up to 5 and 600hp

there are RWD times in the 8’s too

http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/pg/7-About-Us.aspx 870 whp nice

Now I’m confused. The list says 1/4mile but Mr. Wrong’s quote clearly says 1/8 so which is it?

who cares…if they are swapping them to RWD and who knows what engine…they are no longer a grand prix GTP.

Also, with 500-600WHP you aren’t going anywhere fast in a FWD…I doubt we have much to look out for.

Well, if they are indeed converting them to RWD then you’re right, I don’t care. But if they’re still FWD and they did achieve 8 second 1/4 times, then I’m impressed. I’m not worried of running into any, especially in Canada lol but simply having a FWD car with such low 1/4 times is impressive on its own. That said, if those 8 second runs are actually 1/8th times, then it’s completely uninteresting to me.

According to a quick browse of that forum the answer is both and everywhere in between. There are FWD 3800’s that are stock or near stock that report 14+ second 1/4 miles and at least one (world fastest FWD) that has achieved a 1/4 in the 8’s. However, I’m fairly confident in saying that the 8 second FWD car isn’t road legal so you wouldn’t have to worry about pulling up beside it

Cool. See, regardless of the setup (and yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any 8s car being street legal), I still find it impressive. It probably had drag radials up front and looked really funny but still, kudos to them.

The firebirds/ camaros also came with a 3800 option no conversion note: there aren’t a lot out there, but consider only 7 of the people listed on the Audi revolution’s 1/4 mile time would have even made it into the top 25 of the the 3800. The cars cheap and with very cheap mods can easily get into 12’s cheap as in less than 2 grand. Check out my original post and view the fwd top 25 1/4 mile times watch the sleeper video and check out the like to the site. With the fastest 3800 car it had 870 whp… hell no it’s not street legal.

I am not saying these are better cars quite the opposite I am just saying this is where my car moding days began.

My mom’s Oldsmobile came with a 3800 too, who cares again?

and the only people who bought a 3800 Camaro or firebird were people who were trying to look cool but didn’t have the V8 money.

Spoken like a true elitist Euro
