When I say Dsg I a helluva drug, its a flat out compliment to how incredible it is. The Dsg guys are WAY faster than the manual guys. You’ve quoted me saying multiple times that DSG is incredible. Sorry, is that wrong? Does it hurt your feelings? Did I say Dsg times don’t count? You’re fucking nuts. I said the manual guys will never be perfect (you always leave a little on the table as a manual driver while Dsg just rattles off perfect shifts that are way faster than a manual driver ever will be) , and will probably never catch the Dsg guys.

You also quoted me posting rs4 vs s4 comparisons in response to b8 s4 people who say ‘the rs4 doesn’t respond to mods’. I showed that if we look at manual b8 s4s vs manual rs4s they respond very similarly actually. This was a year ago. The rs4 times were very similar to the b8 s4 times. Still are really. What is it…a tenth?

Edit: now with your times its 1.8 tenths and 1.2 mph. Fastest et s4 manual pump is 12.10. Fastest et rs4 pump is 12.28 (George from 2 years ago… We seriously need Paul to go). Fastest mph s4 manual pump is what? 114.9? Fastest is 113 Fastest mph rs4 pump 113.7.

So what is my hidden agenda? To make you invent quotes I never said? I do so quite well it seems. Everyone of these witch hunts, you throw out claims about my past statements that don’t exist, then you retract those claims and apologise. So, you’re up.

Fastest manual B8 S4.

Is that not a significant record for you? Because before I broke it you said a manual B8 will never go faster than 12.4.

I have the fastest manual B8 S4 on pump and race.

12.10 on 93 and 11.88 on 104.

Let me make sure I have this right a Saki:

When a manual B8 S4 guy quotes a DSG time it’s completely innaccurate and can’t be compared because “DSG is a helluva drug” but when I say I have the fastest manual times you decide to now group me with the DSG again… And you try and do this cleverly like all of your other clever undercover smacks at other cars and people… Don’t think I’m not onto you man…

The way the RS4 gets two times on your 1/4 mile list, one for it’s fastest ET and one for it’s fastest trap…

Why do I only get my fastest ET posted and not my 115.6mph pump trap that was only hundreds of seconds difference in ET.

I never said anything about bolt on RS4’s in this conversation… I love the RS4 and agree it does indeed respond well to mods. Great motor and great car. I would love to run Paul but he’s in hibernation.

JHM went to the strip two different times in the RS4 and had a best time from each night that they gave me. They also changed something in the tune between. They outlined this in their post.

Because you were at the track, same day, same configuration, same evetything, and generally we care about ET. For every car that goes to the strip, I add their best ET. This list isn’t about your ego…it’s about 1/4 mile times. So I added your best ET. Do you want the best MPH time on? I really don’t care but the list will get cluttered if we put everyone’s best of everything up (60’, ET, MPH) in order to support their ego.

I have 100 passes in my stock RS4 but only the best time was added. Nothing changed on my car, so why add more times? Did you know that I went 12.82 @ 109.96 in my RS4 a year ago? No you didn’t because I never bothered adding it. I try to add 1 time for 1 configuration unless the guy goes faster ET AFTER I have added the first time. Then I add a new one even if it’s the same configuration.

If you want to say that your car is as fast as a DSG car with the same mods, I will certainly challenge that because the list shows that for modified configurations we have lots of data on, the DSG dominates. You can compare it, but don’t say ‘since joe DSG went XXX I will be able to go XXX in my manual car because they both say S4 on the back’. Againk, the data has shown that the DSG guys have an edge.

We have 3 guys with pretty loaded DSG cars that have gone faster, by a good bit, than you ever have. And you annoint yourself as the king of all shifters. You went with DSG, stage II and all the bolt ons, and you were barely able to crack into the 11s, edit: you went 11.88. meanwhile RYNUYZ and Primetime and 81bear are well into the 11.6-11.7 ET range. You ran in -1000 feet of DA if I recall correctly. PT and Rynurz were more like +500.

So what’s the big deal here? Are you jealous about the DSG guys success? Or are you just desperate to create an RS4 argument?

Primetime and Ryan are both APR Stage 2.

So far lets look at the fastest Stage 2 GIAC times on Race…

Tyson: 11.859@117.97 with a 1.739 60’
Me: 11.881@117.9 with a 1.781 60’
Austin: 11.896@117.15 with a 1.821 60’

So when you look at those 3 times my 6MT time is dead on with similarly tuned DSG cars…

I’m not trying to discredit DSG, i love it. However don’t classify my time with DSG cars when its convenient for you then you can’t compare a manual to a DSG when it’s again convenient for you.
