Selling a set of MTM spacers – two are damaged and 2 are fine.
Looking to get $180 shipped for all 4 spacers and 20 elongated ball seat OEM style bolts. I paid close to $400 new.

Looks like someone used a little hammer persuasion to get it off lol.
Brought my car to a tire shop owned by a close family friend. He said the rear spacers came right off, and the front spacers were “stuck to the hubs.”
I wasn’t there to see them remove the spacers so I have no idea what happened. Just figured if someone needs just front or rear spacers, the other 2 are perfectly fine.

I once hd two of them get stuck together. It was insane trying to get them apart. I used a very fine paring knife with a thin blade to slide between them.
Some grease on the hub would be a good idea to prevent future problems. Helps them stick up there when mounting too…but prevents them melding to the car after a winter.
So why are you selling the others? I run mtm tens in the rear and nothing up front.
Yea, I wish I was at the shop that day. If I saw them hacking away at the spacers I would have intervened for sure. These shits were like $400 shipped from Europrice. I’m open to offers I just have no need for them anymore because I have 19x10s on the car now. When the MTM spacers were on my car they were perfect, never a vibration or anything of that sort. Obviously the tire shop destroyed the front 2 when they pried them off so this ad is mainly for the 2 good spacers, but I will ship the 2 other spacers as well if the buyer desires. I should also note that one of the 2 bad spacers has a crack where that bend is. Obviously that’s neither here nor there since you wouldn’t install a spacer with a bend anyway, just wanted to disclose that.

any chance of bending them back? It’s aluminium so that answer to that is likely ‘ever straighten out a bunched up ball of tinfoil’ but just wondering.
I wouldnt risk fatiguing the aluminum more

me personally, yeah. I had a spacer hub separate from the base and get jammed into my wheel. ended up causing some issues when I needed to change a tire and the spacer was all fucked up. if we had studs I’d say just cut the hub piece bit off and use it without.
I actually did try straightening the one spacer out a bit, it just made it worse and made the crack larger. The 2 bent spacers are worthless at this point, just going to dispose of them or use them as cool drink coasters after i grind them flat!
SO, this ad is for 2 perfect working MTM spacers with all 20 elongated bolts. Everybody likes extra bolts, right?
It’s a very fair price. That’s the price I was sold mine for from an insider deal point of view, and that’s the price I gave someone in the same situation.
Normally these sell for $175 a pair.

Is the entire cylinder misshapen or is it just the lip? If just the lip, you could always grind those off and use them as non-hubcentric spacers. Hard to tell from the pics
10mm x2 is perfect on the RS4 for anyone wondering
if you go 10mm front + 10mm rear, the rears look tucked compared to the fronts
if you go 10mm rear and nothing on the front, the car looks good
perfect would maybe be 12 to 15 rear, 10mm front
Either way 2 MTM 10mm is needed on just about any RS4 with stock wheels, and here you have them for just about the price of H&R vibration spacers.
PM Jetuomi…he was mentioning that he liked the way my car looked with the 10mm rear only lsat weekend when we met.

BWT: it is just the lip that is bent. Sorry, couldn’t get the best pics at night in the garage but I can take more if needed.
The 2 bent ones have no damage other than the hub centric part, so yes they can be ground down and used as non hub-centric ones. The 2 good ones I had on the rear are in great shape though. No nicks, bends, anything like that.
I didn’t expect this thread to get this long haha but yea I have no use for these really. I have 19x10s all around so no need for spacers anymore

Rsfazz are you nastynogaro on Audizine? He was mentioning that a shop bent the fuck out of two of his spacers too. Wonder if that’s an unfortunate trend developing as these things adhere to wheels/hubs

I think it’s pretty obvious the tire shop pried them off since they were stuck on there so well. I have never heard of anyone having any issues with the MTM spacers.
