SOLD!! B7 S4 Engine splash guard & B7 RS4 OEM DP's (gutted) for sale.

UPDATE 9/6/12: Everything is sold.

[b] SOLD! Splash guard: When I first purchased my RS4, I went online searching for a new splash guard since mine was cracked in 10 places. Found a site that had the IMAGE of an RS4 splash guard and advertised it as an RS4 part but…when it arrived it was for an S4. Long story short I still have it in the box it came in sitting in my garage. I paid at the time, $130+ shipping. I’ll let it go for $90 + shipping.

SOLD! RS4 OEM DP’s gutted (all 4 cats): I purchased an extra set from a guy and gutted all four cats. Had to swap back in my original OEM DP’s for warranty work at the dealer…not putting the gutted ones back on. I’m waiting for the JHM 2.75" system to be ready instead. I paid $250 for the DP’s & $50 to have a shop plasma cut open the main cats housing so I could them remove the main cats. Then they welded the main cat housing back together for me. $275 + shipping takes them.

Can take pics of anything if needed just let me know.

Thanks.

P.S. I’m in NY.

fair price for gutted DPs. I hear you’ll be rocking 2.75" goodness soon…

What I really want to see is you vs. RS Maniac and his fully modified, EPL tuned car. I believe he works in Manhattan and commutes from Conn. so should be do-able.

hat’s a race I’ll fly down to see.

Thanks - I’m looking to unload a bunch oof parts for fair pricing in the hopes they move quick. I have other items like OEM sway bars, mufflers etc that I haven’t had a chance to list yet.

I’ve been to two events with him, I’d be willing to do some pulls for sure. If something comes of it I’ll be sure to record it and post it here.

Anything you have available for a B7 S4 minus the splashguard?

The only other part I have for sale that would work for an S4 is a Magnaflo X pipe (2.5") that can be used for either the RS4 or an S4 assuming the owner has upgraded or is looking to upgrade to 2.5" exhaust.

The RS4 DP’s sold.

the whole exhaust (magnaflow)?

No, literally just the “X” cross over they offer. I’ll try and dig up a part #.

$50+ shipping takes it.

Also, I have OEM RS4 sway bars that I believe S4 owners can use. I’d let these go for a reasonable price as well. $175 for both? Whats a fair price for these?

I’m in the (slow) process of reorganizing my garage and making room for new cabinets, storage racks etc.

From memory the front sway bar is that same as the a4 and s4, it is just the rear that is thicker. Also any B6 and B7 can use te RS4 rear sway. I think it is like 200 for just the rear on ecs, so not a bad deal.

2007-2008 B7 S4s had same sways (both) as the RS4, but not the A4 and not the earlier S4s. I’m not sure about 2006 S4s though…they’re weird. Depending where you live some had the RS4 stuff, some didn’t.

Oh really, that’s interesting. So basically an 07-08 S4 with a JHM tune is like an RS4 without carbon build up lol

Good to know. I’d be willing to let the rear sway by itself go for $100 + shipping then. I’ll just hang on to the front I guess since it isn’t an upgrade for others.

Still have the following available for sale:

Magnaflow X, 2.5" $50+ shipping OBO

RS4 rear sway: $100+ shipping OBO

B7 S4 engine splash guard BNIB: $90+ shipping OBO

Motivated to move these out of the garage.

RS4 rear sway will be gone in 30 seconds over on AZ

Thanks Joe, I’ll post this info over there too.

BUMP 8/27/12

I’m willing to let the splash guard go for $75+ shipping. It’s just taking up space in my garage. There has to be an S4 owner who wants a new one for cheap??? I hope.

I’ll take the belly pan. PM me where you’re located in NY.

PM Sent - I’m in Suffolk County, Long Island.

Let me know if you end up not selling the splash guard. I cut a hole in mind for oil changes (well, more like an access panel) but since oil still splashes and drips around, it makes a mess. I think I will revert to taking it off at each oil change instead.

So, interested…

The day I sold it I updated the first post. It’s sold, sorry bud.
