SOLD: Dolphin Gray 2005 Audi S4 6MT with JHM tune and clutch

SOLD***

Well it’s time to post this. Finally got around to cleaning up the car so here it goes. I’m selling my 2005 S4 in excellent condition for it’s age but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. The car still has a new leather smell when the doors are closed for a while. I do detialing on the side so the car is very clean inside and out. Last year I did a full paint correction on it that took me 30 hours, but it left the paint completely swirl free. Since then, the car has never seen anything besides a wool wash mit with the 2-bucket method. In the winter it get’s the occasional powerwash at the DIY carwash. I have all the original manuals, two flip keys and a valet key, some touch-up paint, and a binder FULL of receipts and my maintenance log. The OEM wheels you see were just re-finished a week ago

Modifications:
JHMotorsports 93 octane tune with launch assist
Gutted pre-cats required for the tune(passes emissions/no smell)
JHMotorsports stage 3 clutch kit and lightweight flywheel
Apikol snub mount
Stern trans mount
Goodridge Stainless brake lines/Motul fluid/Akebono Euro pads
OEM RS4 pedals and shift knob
35% LLumar tint
4500K HID foglights
valve covers painted wrinkle red (sandblasted both sides to alleviate the flaking paint issue)
DEI Reflect-A-Gold on the intake…does it really work? Well…it sure looks cool
Continental ExtremeContact DW tires with about 80% tread remaining
OEM RS4 rear sway bar
Audi sport rubber mats will be included
Converted one of the B6 keys to a B7 style flip key.
OEM B7 center console conversion for cup holders

Maintenance:
34-83k: Oil changes performed by previous owner every 4000 miles with Mobil 1 0w-40
83.3: Trans+diff fluid with Motul Gear 300
83.5: Motul 8100 oil, filter, cabin filter, air filter
84.2: Exchange 2L PS fluid
85.5: Clutch + slave cyl, alignment
86.2: Fuel filter, Motul 8100 oil, filter
88.9: JHM tune installed, cleaned throttle body, clean and lubricate wiper linkage
90.0: NGK plugs, Motul oil, filter, cabin filter, air filter, PCV cleaned, valve cover gaskets, belt, tensioner+idler, coolant expansion tank, coolant flush, front-left wheel bearing, A/C recharge
95.0: Motul oil, filter
98.2: Motul oil, filter
100.0: Every single control arm, tie rods, upper front shock mounts, rear spring pads, all new sway bushings, front right wheel bearing, front brakes with new fluid and stainless lines, new OE windshield
102.0: Mobil 1 0w-40 oil, filter, air filter, cabin filter, PS fluid 3L change, coolant drain/fill
104.5: compression test and new Bosch plugs

Issues/Imperfections:
-Small ding on passenger side front door
-Big dent in the passenger side front fender along the edge, I think the PO told me it was from his kid’s bike or something like that
-two tiny dings on the hood and two tiny dings on the roof. These are only notacable if the light hits it right
-Front bumper has seen 104,000 miles, so it’s got some rock chips. Same for the side skirts and lower face of the door blades. The car was previously in Pensylvania, where they must use sand instead of sald in the winter.
-Rear bumper has a few scratches here and there that you can see in the pictures.
-It appears to have a very slow oil leak from the block that the oil cooler lines connect to going into/out of the motor
-It will occasionally pop out of second gear under deceleration/engine braking when the transmission gets hot.

Oil consumption: About 1 Liter every 3000 miles.

Rattle:With fresh oil it does not rattle on cold start at all. When the oil gets near 1500 miles it starts to rattle every cold start.

Compression test as of 104.5K:

Trade for an A4 3.0?.. LOL, Love your car Joe, looks meticulously well kept.

a 3.0 A4? Been there, done that. That’s what I had before the S4. I’m thinking 5.0 mustang is in my very near future

yes I know, thats why I lol… seriously a 5.0? come on, your really willing to let go of Quattro?..your crazy! :stuck_out_tongue:

Lol don’t do the mustang man! Jk jk… they are pretty fun to drive and great to mod. Regardless of what you get it’s great to see such an honest post. You definitely took really good care of that car.

Looks like a very well maintained vehicle!

Mustang’s are fun. My first car was a '88 Mustang 5.0. I took that thing to the brink of destruction and back. Such a stout ride. Got over 400hp with just a few little bolt ons and a fuel map. Maybe some day I will resurrect that beast again…

Still, I think it would be hard to give up my Audi for a Mustang. Good luck!!

GLWS. At that mileage, those are some seriously good compression numbers. Car looks like it has been babied!

I was kind of skeptical about the Reflect-A-Gold on the intake when I read it but holy shit does that look cool. Nice job taking care of your car.

Thanks guys. The reflect-a-gold doesn’t do much performance wise, at least not that I could tell. It just looks good against the red

SOLD

Nice

Where’s that Mustang ?

Virginia.
