You can expect about 35-40 hp and 40 to 50 lbs torque to the wheels…
We went from 104-5 mph trap to 109 with a complete tuneup plus carbon cleaning and the cats out ( all of them)
Hope this help some one
Regards.

It really doesn’t look that bad. All the heat shielding makes it looks messy, but there’s two fairly good sized pipes there, but it feeds into what looks like a 2.5". I assume 3" would be the desired tubing size.

Did you gut the cats out of these?

Just noticed. EIGHT o2 sensors? I get why, but damn. From want I remember being under my friends s6, you can barely see them with the headers in the car.

Yea I was going to day the design looks pretty impressive for stock. Much more RS4 style than S4 style for sure lol.

Nice catch there joe, 8 O2 sensors is no joke lol. But I guess with a V10 it’s nice to be able to split it into quarters rather than just banks for monitoring.

It’s be interesting to see a pic of them flipped over (where the exhaust flange to motor is facing down).

It kinda looks like they use a precat on 2 of the cylinders, but the rest flow straight to the second cat. So I wonder if one is considered a “precat” or if they’re both just main cats? Since the first one doesn’t technically feed the other. I thought it was mandated law in 01 or something for there to be a pre & post cat.

That’s impressive. What are the chances anyone kjows what the s8 v10 one looks like

There’s a photo of it on an engine stand that was sent to all the auto shows. I’m sure if your phone has a Google you can find it quick.

Do you mean these:

They look pretty close to the S6.

Hey jp2.7v6tt,

Do you happen to have any timeslips from the track? You mentioned some trap times, so I thought Id ask. I need them for an S6 Info thread Im working on.

Thanks!
