So I just swapped my sparkplugs. I was really surprised to see how white my plugs were. Only 34.5K miles on them on stock tune. Now, from my understanding of “traditional” fuel injected motors, the spark plug electrodes should be light tan. White means lean, really dark means rich. Right?
Are things different on a direct injection motor or has my car really been running a bit lean? I was happy to see that they weren’t completely coked up with carbon though!
