Stanley Cup 2015

Its can’t imagine how any hockey fan would NOT respect a goal scorer (Ovechkin) that can also dish it out. Some of his hits are just as epic as his goals.

Game 7 (Rangers - Caps) is must-see tonight.

I just want them to announce the game schedule. >:(

Yea game 7 should be great tonight…this round was weaker than the first, not many series dragging out. I can’t really stay up for the west coast games.

The blackhawks are gonna be hard to stop. I’m surprised how solid tampa looked after being taken to the brink against a pretty weak wings team.

Tampa will handle the blackhawks…but that won’t be till next season during regular season games because they won’t meet in the cup.

Tampa will play the Ducks for the cup after the Ducks ass rape Chicago.

Bahahahaha. Ain’t happening

Bahahahaha. Ain’t happening

I bet sak a coke last year and lost. Wondering if I should go double or nothing . . .

Lucky for you, you will get to watch it first hand.

Or unlucky if your prognostication holds true…looks like east game 1 is saturday and west, sunday

Game 7’s are one of lifes simple pleasures

Can’t believe the rangers pulled that out, Caps were absolutely hammering them in OT. Seems like without all those PP’s the rangers would have been dead in the water.

Funny that Tampa gets to play another original 6 team, their home games are pretty much away games with all the rival fans showing up.

Delay in scheduling means game 1 only for me. But, game 7 potentially next saturday. So ticket bought with full refund if it doesnt happen. Pretty excited.

good point! Forgot about that.

Would be interesting to see them beat Chicago in the final for a quad. Of course they’ll have to settle for the Ducks but that’s pretty cool.

Washington must be wondering what the hell happened.

how’d you get them? Are they nosebleeds? Must be $250 a seat if not.

Ya nosebleed. Coulda went 325 but no thanks. Friends seen plenty of games events there. No real bad seat and its not a terribly big arena. $127

its crazy how expensive the good seats are here

325 is not much more than the cost of our top quality regular season seats lol

playoffs are worse

MSG must be mental too

Comparing NHL tickets in Ontario or Montreal to LA (arguably the worst sports town in America) is like comparing avant demand to SUV’s in the states (sad I know :’( ). At least in Nor cal they kind of care about the sharks.

Detroit is a weird mix because it’s a great hockey town, but most of the fanbase are blue collar and broke as shit, so you can get great seats for cheap with a killer atmosphere.

But hockey is absolutely so much better watching down behind some glass…even if you can’t see 15% of the rink lol

really? I absolutely despise the first few rows. I turn down leafs tickets a few times a year, and 100% of the time if it is the first 4 rows. Ideally 10-15 rows, centre ice. No mesh, no glass, and you can hear the game. The sound is so important for me. You can’t hear shit when you’re first or second row.

Lol ok you caught me saying something dumb…I’ve only sat in the first row once, and it was in the corner…and it sucked. I mispoke when I said behind glass…really meant to say in the lower bowl. In the upper bowl you just have no sense for the speed and how quick the skaters are changing direction. TV completely ruins it, plus you can’t see outside the main field of view where a TON is happening (D line changes, and cherry pickers since they re-allowed 2 line passes). I usually sit in rows 8 or so at Yost for college games. Very vertical arena, so row 8 is almost perfectly in the zone for some errant pucks. But those tickets are like $25 ;D

Compare that to football, which I hate sitting lower than row 20 or so, where you can’t see half the field. Football is way better on TV. BBall is kind of the same down low or up top in terms of following the game, it’s fun to sit close because you get to see the players interacting and can really sense how massive they are and how high they jump. But the game isn’t very enhanced. Again, that’s college…couldn’t pay me to go to an nba game.

Funny. I would say the same, but only for college. NBA is where it’s at.

God no. After The Bulls (reads Jordan) run NBA sucks. Biased opinion.

I like a birds eye view to see the entire rink and lanes open. Ideally would prefer a little lower but in the arena. Excited
