I’m looking for help/suggestions on tracking down the source of this issue. It has been going on since I’ve had the car. I’m pretty fed up with it so I brought it into a shop today to have them investigate, but they weren’t able to find the problem.
The steering wheel has a slight shimmy/vibration in a few conditions:
Cruising @ 70-75mph
Braking between 60-75mph
Things that have been checked:
alignment
wheel balance
tires were roadforce balanced today
brake rotor runout(rotors have been changed recently)
A little info on the car:
07 RS4
JHM 380mm rotors
OEM wheels
tires are PSS 275/30/19. wear pattern looks even.
