Sound… :o

Sounds great

Most impressive?

THE FUCKING TRACK!!!

No wonder they’re nearly bankrupt

The car sounds amazing fir sure! But I agree that track…#drool

Holy crap that is a nice track!

The S6 running is cool too. Decent time for stock without mufflers.

basically B6 S4 time…although it’s probably pretty hot there in Dubai or Qatar or wherever that is.

101 MPH or something.

I drove one once. I really wanted to like it. I didn’t unfortunatley. Just big, big and big. And soft. And not exactly in a hurry even though the engine is nuts in theory.

Speaking with CV about it, we were looking at the study guide for the motor, and he was rattling off part after part after part that were restricting the car. He was jonesing to get one with JHM and do a full program, but there’s like 7 of them out there and they’re all owned by 60 year olds. Not a great business case lol.

Basically Audi held it WAAAAAY back to create nice gaps for the detuned RS6 and the S8 with the V10. Getting one of those up to 500 hp (400 whp) would be really straightforward, but lots of work. Of course then you’d have a 12.5 @ 112 car that weighs 4300 lbs. That’s a lot of work to go 12.5 @ 112. You’d match a stock E60 M5.

102,8 mph , probably on hot weather I will ask the owner …that is basically what my friend s6 runs ( stock) , well this guy want to mod this car , I will finish my exhaust and tune run him again , beat the s6 and Im sure he will do everything to beat the little brother (s4) ;D .
Saki what was the points about this motor you where taking with CV?
1-take the cats out ( motor pull)
2-3 inch catback
3- intake manifold?
4-tune
5.light weight parts
Basically s4 mods into this big motor .
There is a guy who did APR tune and catback it run 108,6 mph I got the time slip somewhere , I found it some time ago .

I tihink the sound was from the V10 m5… You could hear a little of the S6… or so it sounds in the video

WOWs on the track

Exactly.

The cats are very restrictive. It is easy to gut the cats that are farther down for cylinders 1-3 and 6-8 but the cats for cylinders 4-5 and 9-10 require an engine pull. Headers would be even better still but that would be one tight fit!

A ported intake manifold with very thick intake manifold spacers would make a tremendous difference. Hell the intake pipes and airbox are restrictive looking to me. When you take the top of the airbox off most of the air filter fins are smashed from the bottom of the airbox since it is such a tight fit.

A lightweight crank pulley would be cool.

Then to really push things, there is SOOOO much room under the passenger side headlight to mount the JHM supercharger. The supercharger would have to be flipped around from the way that it mounts in the B6/7 S4s and B7 RS4 but that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Here is a picture of what I mean but lower down than pictured:

^^ Hmmm… superchargerd V10? How stout is that S6 V10? B6 S4 level or ninja RS4 level? Probably the former.

definitely the latter

Isn’t it 5.2 and related to lambo gallardo engine? There’s even a lamborghini plate on the engine block. Last time I checked… That engine is fucking strong.

I recall reading that the only difference between the lambo motor and the audi motor are the cylinder heads/valvetrain/cams. same castings though, same castings as the 07k I5 in fact, just with hand porting and bigger cams/better valvetrain.

IM/EM and other accessories are likely different as well. a worked over audi 5.2 may not put out quite as much as the lambo (in n/a trim), but it should be similar
