Stop Motion 2.7t assembly

I have never done stop motion before so I just sorta winged it. Had fun doing it.

that was neat

is there an easy way to do it? Or is it painstakingly tedious?

Well I should have used my remote, then it would have been a lot easier. Instead I was reaching to the button and using a timer, tedious but also made me appreciate the motion more.

Next time I do one will be a lot easier and should be more fluid also. The post processing of 1500 12mb pictures on an old dell laptop was the real tedious part.

hahaha that’s what I was thinking.

I bet there is a feature in video editing software that would let you take HD video with a good camera, then load it into the software, and you can snip/pick and choose your frames.

That is a very cool video. I think the lack of use of remote gives it a unique feel. Bit more like the stop motion of old.

cool stuff

very cool video…

that video made it look real easy to assemble a single turbo motor though (well probably for you it was easy)

I like how you are showing future/non purchasers of your kit, how your kit is assembled and that you are more than capable of building it from the ground up. I like how it is set up. I also like the fact that your car is being put back together, which means that you are going to try and do something special with it on the track very soon. It would be nice to see you ask that 034 guy for a friendly race on the track. Exspecially since he keeps trying to eclipse your knowledge on single turbo cars with the fact that you never raced him. I’m pretty sure that he feels that, until you race and beat his car, that you should never comment on the capabilities of the O34 single turbo kit.

So this is why B5 builds take so long…

For real though, cool video Snow Trooper and I hope you get her out to the track soon.

These guys could do it in their sleep.

You and I would take three weeks.

count Vohn orchestrated the motor pull when we did beemercers headers…and he just had it all in his head. We just put all two hundred bolts and nuts in a box and he knew, on reinstallation of the motor, exactly where everything went. it was crazy

See i too would take 1500 photos doing an engine refresh but only becuase i would need to document were all the bolts n stuff would go back…

Yeah i have a friend like that who can pull a motor out and put the bolts all over the place and remeber where they go back in one he is finished…luckily he is the one doing my motor.

Just the other day a customer was laughing at me because I have all these boxes full of bags, full of bolts, you can pull one out and I can tell what areas if the car/engine/trans it goes to or can fit.

Version 2, can’t decide which one I like best… Feedback?

V2 is my choice. Great tune! No idea what it is, it’s called greattune7.mp3 on my SD card! I suspect it’s deadmau5 or something like that.

Deadmau5 ghosts & stuff hard intro version. Thanks for the feedback.

The song made V2 better…

Are you going to do a time lapse of you putting the engine back in the car…that would be cool to see.

I will def try.

awesome…

Your video reminded me of this one which I saw a while ago http://youtu.be/daVDrGsaDME

Thats a great video and its an awesome setup! Love that manifold even though i couldnt see the whole thing

Isn’t the oil filler cap on the wrong side? Or was it intentional?
