I’m not sure if this was mentioned on here already. Here are some quotes from the AZ thread:

[QUOTE=Kai@EliteMS]I’ll chime in here so people have some sort of idea of what’s going on. Long story short unfortunately, Stratmosphere is no longer around.

I have contacted John personally after everything happened and he has informed me that they have closed doors and the building they were in is now fully empty (this has been verified by others as well).

I got involved with this situation when we got charged for a Milltek exhaust and it never showed up which is the reason I am in the loop now. Unfortunately we are dealing with charge disputes etc. with Stratmosphere but I wont get into that at this time. If anyone has ordered parts and got charged, I would get in touch with your CC company because getting in touch with anyone there is not going to work.

[QUOTE=joneze93tsi]Guys,

Strat is indeed gone.

Thankfully, John is still around and should be here shortly to help clear things up and share some new exciting news.
There is a silver lining, and some stuff information & news will be available shortly.
He can’t help with orders not fulfilled from Stratmosphere, but if you need an intake, filter, shifter etc. give him a call: 585.503.1189

[QUOTE=Greg@Griffin]This. John will be back in action soon and will pickup where he left off on the X-Pipe (and hopefully the shifters and intakes). If anyone needs any help with Milltek parts, please let me know.

And from QW:

[quote]Saw this post on the MK6 forum:

"I live in Rochester NY where the only local APR dealer is a place called Stratmosphere. I emailed them in December with a bunch of questions, and got a response within a few hours. Now that the sale is here, I wanted to schedule an appointment for stage 1. So I emailed again and now a week later no response.

So I stopped by the place today (first time there) and it looked deserted. There was an M3, an older jetta, and a eurovan parked outside. Door locked, nobody around. I peaked in the window and it looked like they were moving. A few boxes, car parts, and office furniture strewn about. The most curious thing was a “final termination/shut off” notice from the local electric company taped to the door, with an overdue figure into four digits.

When I got home I checked their website. No indication of closing. A tweet from 14 days ago saying there were several nice cars in the shop that day. I called, during business hours, no answer.

??? where are you stratmosphere ???"

(edited to add more info)

Like bankrupt?

Dammit no more undersized exhausts and useless intakes

Are you sure? This is big news. Looks like the Hot air intake wasn’t enough to keep them afloat

I edited the original post with some more info and a link to another thread on QW.

Looks like its true. John or whatever his name is quit and will be starting his own hot air intake company.

lok.
