Sun Visor Clip Replacment

I know most of these posts are engine/performance related, but over the break I managed to snap the little clip/J-hook that holds the driver side sun visor in place when it’s not being rotated to the driver side window. Figure it can’t be an expensive piece, but does anyone have any experience with taking off this piece or the roof liner? I’m OCD enough that I’d love to fix it ASAP, but not sure what I’m getting into…

It’s a simple task - 2 components.

#6 Cap (cover) - pop the cap off by prying at the edge
#5 Bracket - pull bracket straight out

Awesome, thanks. If just the plastic clip broke, am I going to need a bracket too? Is it a one time use clip on thing or something?

I believe you will have to get a new bracket. Also, you may want to remove the cover first (before ordering the bracket) to check the plastic tabs that secure it to the bracket. If the tabs are broken you can order both pieces and save you some time unless you don’t mind the aesthetics. If all is well then no problem.
