I would also say if they are spinning their tires, launch control is not really doing what it is supposed to. If anything, it’s an indictment on the launch control feature on their DSG tune (and not a good one). The whole point of launch “control” is to limit the amount of wheel spin…
It’s not likely a smart or learning system like you might find in a 458 or a 12C. Perhaps just a rev limiter adjustment that allows you to launch off a higher RPM than stock.
