t-stat replacement

so i i just replaced the t-stat and wp on a 2010 s4 and everything seems ok… good heat and stable temp but the thing that is freaking me out a little is the piping to the sc seems too cold even though the bleeders at the back are hot and if loosened have g13 pouring out. first one i have done so forgive me if this is retarded

2010 S4? Sounds like a B8. This is the B6/7 section. But maybe someone can still help

sorry… i’ll repost

Lol.

glad it amused someone… anyway should have searched the forums before posting. found the dyi on the t-stat and the bleeding notes at the end. i will recheck today before the customer picks the car up tomorrow. awesome car and not a bad job 4-5hrs

Didnt realize this was a customer’s car.

if it’s a legit question, then I apologize. I’m usually the nice guy… a little drama over this question around here lately, and no one seems to know.
If water comes out of both intercooler bleeders your are good.
Otherwise, it’s a self bleeding system (as long as its stock, opposed to upgraded intercooler loop)
There is also a bleeder for the heater core…

Air always wants to make it to the highest point. The only place air will end up is in the intercoolers, heater core and expansion tank.

totally stock car… nice older couple from maryland… car apparently overheated on the way down to williamsburg. i was a bit confused as there was no typical evidence and no codes either. but it did have the older superseded t-stat, why i was told to do the wp i dont know but unfortunately i am not the boss. wasnt oe but it was more expensive of the two options available on worldpac. anyway i ran car to temp again today (yesterday after bleeding the car was road tested for 20 miles) and rechecked at bleeders. its all good. love the car very nice, it just got dropped on me last minute and hadnt seen one yet and of course it was promised friday and wp didnt arrive till 4pm. all in all though not hard job… i just wanted to be certain it was strait. tomorrow more familiar tsi valve cleaning and intake replacement… lol
