Isn’t the gearing different on the B8.5, and doesn’t it run less boost? or is that only S-Tronics? If either are true, I don’t see Rich coming very close to that 12.69 record.
I was wondering about the gearing as well for B8.5 manuals.

Happened to a couple of the local guys. An RS4 and a B5 S4 stage III and a B8, and they were all running pretty mediocre times in great conditions. i.e. mid-high 12s.

Agree with this. Heck, I’ve seen an APR V2.2 stage I 93 B8 show 13.1 PSI peak on a P3 gauge in hot, humid weather and the same car show 13.5 peak with a 15 degree drop in temp and a decent decrease in humidity.
