Hey all, I was down at the Texas Mile this past weekend, and while my S6 didn’t make an appearance (still working on it… :’( :’( ) it got me thinking about what kind of aero parts are available for our cars.
Ideally: tasteful when attached, but readily removable when aero isn’t of concern (basically, not doing an all-out mile, 99.99% of driving time).
Anyone know of good places or done any of this kind of bodywork?
I would say not too many have gone down the path your talking about but from what I have seen west has. Agree with what he has done or not he has a working formula that he has stated works very well for his car.
What would be awesome is if they made a wing modification for the trunk similar to the S/RS7s. I’ve always liked that about them.
Maxton design has some pretty nice but pricey things.
There was a guy on Audizine that was trying to graft a C63 rear diffuser to our bumper (it looks like a good match) but never follow through with if it worked or not.
mostly thinking along the lines of splitters/diffusers. wings are out of the question lol. maybe a trunk-mounted lip spoiler, but that’s more for style than anything.

Those guys make a splitter, but I’d want it in carbon fiber so I probably won’t get it unless I end up buying it just to have someone else redo it in CF. Ideally someone will take the time to design a full kit for our cars but it’s unlikely since most people that seem to be doing body mods for the C6 have been doing it to add airbags or in the Stance crowd. To each their own but if I had a CF splitter. I’m sure it would be stressful trying not to scratch it lol

Reminds me of a 2014+ Mustang Shelby splitter. Nice little mod to add, but would it out do the RS6 splitter?
