I posted on AZ about this as well. I can’t have more than a weekend of downtime on my car for the next few months, so I’m looking for a TCU/TCM to resolve this problem. It is for a 2004 A4 3L w/ tiptronic. Anyone know where to get a used one?
Alternatively, if you have a local resource I would be willing to buy it and pay for you to ship it.

Im telling you I love this place and I keep finding my self wanting to go briong more excited 3.0 guys over here. I feel this site has inspired me to do more and want to be more involved in the prosses.
I would love to send out MY TCU and help. I don’t want any money to exchange hands. I don’t like to mix money and friends. If we both pay to ship the ECU to JHM and pay for the return shipping were both spending the same money and noone needs to mix money. I can afford the down time as Im getting geard to to hopefully get the JHM Dp’s on my car sometime eairly next month…
I figgure I already had a taste of the TCU tune and I loved it. If Im able to helop the comunity and other guys to experence what I did why not do it

On a side note, Shawn what year is your car? I think the 02s have a different TCU from the 03+
Post your box codes in the FAQ section.
An option would be to chip the 03+ with a 02 TCU and see if it worked in your car. If not then your out nothing but time. That would be my take.
