That 700hp Hellcat...

Doesn’t seem to handle very well compared to the power / balance of the car…

I foresee many more wrecks like this one with this car

Not sure it had anything to do with the car’s ability to handle. It was a blind turning crest with cool temperatures and the guy was most likely punching it through the back roads. Lack of driver skill + extremely powerful car + cold temps + blind turning crest = recipe for disaster.

The real question. If it had quattro would it have happened

Have you seen those pics of Audis crashed into houses or trees? They all had quattro. Even it has its limitations regarding driver stupidity.

True it sounds like the crest of the hill got him. High speeds, air borne, land off line, maybe over corrects and that’s it. Party over.

Still quattro cars get loose WAY less than RWD cars…especially when you’re making 4,5 or 7 hundred hp

I’ll take a hellcat though ;D

It’s hard to prevent every part of unsafe driver stupidity but AWD is a good start.

I hate to say, but I think the 2 passengers being in the car p’bly had a lot to do with the series of unfortunate events. “This bitch has 707 horsepower”…“So does my Honda”…“Not like this”…“Prove it”…

that’s probably exactly ho that went lol. for me 700hp is that magic number where im actually satisfied. I don’t know how many of u have driven the new challengers but they handle like fucking shopping carts. almost impossible to get around a track in the srt8 and that’s only 425hp. I found the car to be less than confidence inspiring.

imho the challenger is a cool car to cruise through downtown in and take to the drive in and do smoke shows in but is dogshit on a road course or the drag strip.

lol. spot on with the shopping cart
