"The JHM stage 2 kit makes much less tq than the old APR 1320 kit" -twits4estate

Yes Reid has been shown to be a liar. He has zero credibility.

As for amd nobody knows about them for their rs4 result. The RS4 world barely knows AMD exists . Amd is only really known in the B5 world and it is for dyno racing which works well on B5 forums. In general they are best known for the owner/janitor/receptionist aka Jason being a collossal idiot online.

Up until this last year no amd car had done a fucking thing other than dyno and blow the car up. Or do 60 to 130 and blow the car up. If you want to know why performance sucked dick see the thread I started here…

http://audirevolution.net/forum/index.php?topic=485.0

It seems they finally listened to us and ditched EPL as of a few months ago. Since then they have had two cars so solidly well oerformance wise. Reputation wise however they are still a disaster. For example we are still waiting for photos of this supposedly running shop car…

Nope

To add to this, AMD really has nothing to do with the kit besides installation and dynos. Jonathan designed the hardware and UM tuned it…what did AMD do, install a few and do some dynos and data logs? Let’s just call it the Aviva/UM RS4 supercharger installed by AMD.

Posts like this are comical too…one of the koolade drinkers questioning why the B5 1/4mile times suck so bad.

I guess we got a hail mary run though, how is tweets car doing in the winter snow??

SO Aviva only came up with this kit to SHOW AR…lol good for them, hope they sell a few.

whatecer Corbett go do some reading

Next you will tell us dickbeater is a genius. Anyway moving on…

Swesna not sure what you were asking above. I agree the numbers on the dyno on that jhm stage 1 kit weren’t very good. Of course if we consider the following…

  1. A non intercooled, stationary, supercharged RS4, pushing boosted air into the engine, sourced from the open intake in the hot engine bay in a hot room with modest airflow from fans, on a warm california afternoon…this car dynod something unimpressive? Are we supposed to be shocked? The dyno isn’t a great tool at the best of times for reflecting what a car can do on the road. This is no exception. Did they then lone up and do some pulls? Denis’ car would put a good half a dozen car lengths on Ben.

  2. Dyno? Is this really how anyone on this site evaluates their performance parts? If the car went 11.74 @ 117.5 would you say “that’s not very good because the dyno wasn’t impressive”. No. You would forget about the dyno

  3. Bens car vs Denis ’ car. We still haven’t heard from the sources what the differences were. It was claimed they had the same exhaust. Interesting because Denis has a catted system. Does Ben? As we know eliminating cats is good for 15-25 whp and wtq . Were they on same fuel? These two things alone can be additional huge delta.

So there’s rarely much weight given to dyno numbers at the best of times on this site whether kits do well or do poorly. AMD dynod 475 whp with their HP kit, but nobody here really cared other than slapping Jason with the numbers vs the old apr1320 kit which he trash talked. AMD went 11.36@126. That’s awesome and frankly far more INTERESTING than any dynoing, good or bad. If the JHM kit dyno’d 475 whp stage 1 are we going to give them a pass and say ‘way to go that proves it’s great’? No. We still want to see it go 11.6 @ 118.

No need to read. I don’t take much on this site as truth. Lots of made up stories get tossed around here.

I’m sorry has your car gone faster than my b5 k04 car? No. Hail Mary run? He ran multiple 10.9 second or less passes on multiple days.

So his car is still running and they didn’t kill the car?

You’ll have to ask him that. Lots of b5s break at that power level, just like the JHM 10.8 car.

The JHM 10.8 car broke an axel. The other B5 in question broke the motor. Again after how many times. The JHM B5 that went 10s still runs and its how many years later.

I honesty thought I had read the motor on that b5 blew up. Am I incorrect?

Man you sound like your son…maybe you can visit the dealer that they take their car to.

The difference is JHM didn’t spend 3years and $25k building their car to have it run for 6months. It’s also their shop car so who cares if they blow it up pushing limits. That is what reputable shops do, find limits so their customers don’t have to.

Ermmmm my 2.7 and Kurt’s 2.7 both blew up days after install.

now Im confused. I generally see a honest side of your point but even you know how wrong what you posted was. Your car had several issues non of them turbo related. And were you not at the track when K’s TRANSMISSION blew up. And K’s car was I think almost 2 months of driving and testing before he blew up his own transmission making transmission files. OR he WAS TESTING on his car not a shops.

Then your forgetting about an actual customers car much like the many others. Hunters car has how many records and how many years and how many miles.

I understand that maybe the debate is seriously bad for who your looking to defend but that is his issue not yours.

We always say FACTS here. So FACT JHM and Its record setting B5 Ran for years after the 10second pass not months like Tweets who blew his motor more times then most can keep count.

was there a point to that statement? I’m confused as to why you even bring him into this.

Was there a point? Yes. Read my response in the context if what you just claimed and it makes sense.

Shit happens, and it’s usually not a specific shops fault.

The timing of Reid’s car suddenly being brought up every day around here is unbelievable.

Actually its not. A few of us caught his post on AZ about blowing his motor again. I knew about it and decided to say nothing as why start issues. And decided that it just sucked. Then he decided to get on a high horse and play blown motor games again AFTER THE DEBATE WAS ALREADY over and he was for the millionth time proven wrong. The fact is he decided to throw himself into the spot light and many people reacted. He brought this on himself. There is a point in time when his fake attempt to come off genuine is blown. When that happens people react.

Seriously Corbett…don’t come here just to cover up for tits and beater.

Come and tell us about your RS6. Stop aligning your Internet self with those monkeys.

Back on topic, looking forward to seeing the dyno from the JHM cars with the supercharger. The topic was that Reid made a fucking outlandish claim that the 400 whp APR 1320 kit makes “considerably more torque” than the 550 whp JHM Stage 2 kit.

The one heatsoaked stage 1 non-intercooled car in California dynod probably as poorly as any JHM supercharged car ever will. I bet EVEN IT didn’t make “considerably less torque” than apr1320 did…never mind the JHM Stage 2 setup.

He could help himself out and just shut the fuck up (twits). If he would stop trolling B7 RS4 threads with bogus information then maybe he could quietly blow his motor, get it fixed, and no one would care.

You (Corbet) could also just shut the fuck up and post stuff about your RS6 instead of trying to uncover some imaginary conspiracy you’ve made up about AR in your head.

If Ben and Denis are in the same general area, we just need a friendly roll race. Nothing crazy…maybe 20-80mph, that should be good for about 8 car lengths. Hope Ben brings his dyno sheet to prove the JHM car only makes 35hp (or whatever bogus number they came up with).

Awfully tough behind that keyboard eh??? Shut the fuck up? Who do you think you are? There’s no conspiracy. There’s just a TON of lies being spread on this message board.

Oh Boy, this starting to sound like fun!!
