whatecer Corbett go do some reading
Next you will tell us dickbeater is a genius. Anyway moving on…
Swesna not sure what you were asking above. I agree the numbers on the dyno on that jhm stage 1 kit weren’t very good. Of course if we consider the following…

A non intercooled, stationary, supercharged RS4, pushing boosted air into the engine, sourced from the open intake in the hot engine bay in a hot room with modest airflow from fans, on a warm california afternoon…this car dynod something unimpressive? Are we supposed to be shocked? The dyno isn’t a great tool at the best of times for reflecting what a car can do on the road. This is no exception. Did they then lone up and do some pulls? Denis’ car would put a good half a dozen car lengths on Ben.

Dyno? Is this really how anyone on this site evaluates their performance parts? If the car went 11.74 @ 117.5 would you say “that’s not very good because the dyno wasn’t impressive”. No. You would forget about the dyno

Bens car vs Denis ’ car. We still haven’t heard from the sources what the differences were. It was claimed they had the same exhaust. Interesting because Denis has a catted system. Does Ben? As we know eliminating cats is good for 15-25 whp and wtq . Were they on same fuel? These two things alone can be additional huge delta.
So there’s rarely much weight given to dyno numbers at the best of times on this site whether kits do well or do poorly. AMD dynod 475 whp with their HP kit, but nobody here really cared other than slapping Jason with the numbers vs the old apr1320 kit which he trash talked. AMD went 11.36@126. That’s awesome and frankly far more INTERESTING than any dynoing, good or bad. If the JHM kit dyno’d 475 whp stage 1 are we going to give them a pass and say ‘way to go that proves it’s great’? No. We still want to see it go 11.6 @ 118.
