The only one - Nogaro Blue B7 S4 Avant! (for sale)

This must be Ekim81s (AZ) old ride and I see it went through quite a few changes modwise. Really decent mod list, this thing is ready to be JHM charged! Unicorn in all it’s glory:
Nogaro Blue B7 S4 For Sale

I notice he points out valve stem seals were changed. can anyone tell me more about this, and why / when should be done? Thanks for getting me back up to speed post 2010. :stuck_out_tongue:

Right in Edmonton. Never seen it before but its gorgeous!

Paging JimmyBones and/or Slow4 on valve seal topic.

Damn, talk about a blast from the past. Good to see you found your way over here. For the valve stem seals I believe guys are replacing them once they see evidence of leakage at high vacuum, not sure on typical mileage though.

It actually looks quite decent in Nogaro.

Already on the jhm bottle. From what I can tell not much difference in performace vs the stg 1 blower.

I know. Can someone ask him to just post about his track times here. He can obviously still post the for sale thread too but I would like to hear more about his track times so we can document that before the car get sold and we might not hear about it again

Ahh you’re right. I didn’t even notice that as I just skimmed through the mod list.

Already did, so hopefully he’ll post that info here.

Great work that would be awesome if he came and posted that information. Plus karma for you.

Nogaro looks exactly like sprint in photos but in person it’s positively purple.

It’s clearly white and gold any way you look at it :stuck_out_tongue:

A little update from the owner on that low 12s run:

I kind of want to buy this, but not sure if already owning an RS will ruin the experience, but the practicality of it is awesome not to mention the amount of money into it!

any luck on getting the slips from him. The car looks great. I love those rims. Well the entire car looks great.

Ozcarmeyer I have driven both the S4 my car and other s4s and a few rs4s. The s4 for me and you will read from what some of the others that have switched have said. The S4 has more tq in the driving range. The Rs4 is had to beat. but a well built wagon S4 is also very hard to beat. Its a great part of both worlds.

Do it man! You’ll have the best of both worlds. As in Avant to haul/daily drive and with that set of mods it will haul lol And RS4 as your garage queen/weekend toy. Or spit the duty equally between both, possibilities are endless hehe to top it off it’s blue as your RS4. Cool factor would be through the roof to own both.

On a serious note though, it’s a tough call, since both cars would be to much of the same and the only thing S4 has going for it is space of Avant and rarity if it means much to you.

I’d like to see some nicer wheels and a ti package conversion.

Have him do that, and then I’ll buy it lol

Pester him for a timeslip. We should add him to the list.

Hey Thanks guys, Il havta dig up the timeslip, Ran a 12.3 @112mph. That was an evening run at the track on the west coast, damn near sea level, everything outta the car, A full bottle and almost empty tank of 94 ethanol free octane and lightweight TDR wheels, couldnt ask for better conditions. Here in Edmonton the track is kinda crappy and elev is 2500’ and best i could get last year was 12.6. that was on not the best fuel either. Had the heavy 19’s with 255’s and broke a front CV and havnt been on the strip since. The car likes the road course better.

Good stuff, thanks for posting. Hope it sells. Great car.

The colour…are you the one who found out afterwards that it was actually Nogaro? I can’t remember if you were the original importer or not.

I plan to run 1/4’s once my engine rebuild is complete… will be curious to see if i can put up similar numbers. Almost identical engine mods, except i have a tip trans.
