Some people want genuine OEM paint. And I would think it would be more if you got into spraying the engine bay to make it look right.

yes, Papaya greater than Glut. I like the Glut too…might even like it more as I have no issue with bright colors.
I was tempted to buy that same car. The story seemed real I validated it with the Audi dealership that prepped the car when it first got here. The person answering the phone claimed they had money to burn.
What does not make sense is how the car was shipped west to east coast and then back from east coast. That is the strange part of the story and then it got relisted by the dealer in Cali.
Then a guy from AZ bought it.

to get a car painted papaya or any color to OEM standards would be costly but I am sure possible.
Mr Papaya should be headed to Cali very soon therefore I am not going to pursue it any more. I am not going to pay top dollar for the car and then 2K to ship it back. I am out on this one.

I’m thinking either it’s a miscommunication issue like you mentioned or the guy is trying to recover funds spent on his mods by leveraging the rarity of Papaya. Who knows… ???
no doubt sent it. i have been trying to buy his car for over a year. it is all good either way. I will have a RS4 just wanted something a bit brighter and OEM. My car just turned 34K miles last week.
Also, I drove up to NJ to pick up some new front rotors from my basement in NJ. Got the jack, jack stands and new rotors sitting in my garage waiting. Brought the PnP intake down here too just in case I get the ballz to install it.

Once I organize the garage a bit I will start with some maintenance and maybe do some mods.

agree. I like misano and imola as well. The papaya w/ Ti was just more unique and modded already…basically turn key. It had the capristo and since I was not going to SC that car it would have stayed bc the capristo with remote just sound ridiculously awesom.
i am liking my MTM catback as it does have a nice refined sound. when i get on it in a parking garage or next to something that would bounce the sound back to the car…it sounds very nice.

No RSN-E, no sunshades, no rear heated seats, and to top it off ugly wood trim… What in world was someone thinking while creating this combo :
I didn’t even know you were able to order no sunshade or no rear heated, or the wood. I thought it was all std equipment on all b7 s4/rs4. That’s a lot of effort in the custom order process lol. Wonder if it saved him money or cost extra!

Bear in mind that this non premium combo is what holds the stock 1320 record - maybe all that shit adds weight lol
