yes, but this look even cleaner than mine. plus i like this color especially when in Ti. i sent am email to the person and they did not respond to me regarding accident.
In the 5 I was counting my wife’s beater…2003 Honda Civic LX 4-door with 160K plus miles.
My cars:
08 RS4 DG with 33.8K miles
98 C2S with all the mods…over 104K miles but about 25K on top-end rebuild and piston rings replaced…this car sits low on PSS9 and my favorite mod is the LWFW…clutch grabs very strong
97 C2 with less than 60K miles
91 C2 with over 130K miles…engine/trans out sitting in garage in NJ waiting for me to bring down to NC. Then I will mod
Question: How much would you pay for 08 Papaya Ti with 26K miles on it…we know the car. I think RS4 prices are down a bit considering the 08 that is on eBay now with like 11K miles.
At times I think about selling th 98 C2S for something special like the Papaya.
I thinnk everything is for sale and him and I have discussed it previously. I thought I was going to buy it a while back prior to me buying all the pcars but then he was not ready. Then he was ready and I had too many cars.
Doesn’t look like a something to go crazy over. Eventhough it’s and 08 with low miles and one owner you have to factor in an accident and the fact that RS4 prices have significantly went down. Plus mugello is not that rare of a color like glut, papaya, suzuka, etc… I’d pass.
I’m in Raleigh, not far from big wake med. I would be happy to let you keep that RS4 at my place. Just be sure to leave me the keys incase I need to move it.
On another note, the Cary C & C is sort of hiatus due to some issues, but a new C & C at the Raleigh Grande started a couple months ago and seems to be a better venue. I haven’t been to that one yet, but might try this month.
RS4 could be had for under 40 easily. Mid to low 30s and if mileage is no issue, with over a 100kmi those go for mid to low 20s. I’m not even going to start on wholesale auction pricing as it’s even lower.
These are not 2008 with Ti in a rare colour and low miles. These are run of the mill RS4s being auctioned off…and they’re still getting $32,000.
Reality is you could get a great RS4 with 30,000 miles for about $45,000-50,000 3 years ago. And you are still paying similar money (within 10-15% of that) today. That means they depreciated 3-5%/year vs. typical 15%+ depreciation.
I’m not saying RS4 prices dropped off the cliff recently. I’m saying the prices went down significantly more than what general public/RS4 owners predicted. Majority were expecting for RS4 to hold it’s value much better that it actually did and we see this in todays market whether it’s retail or wholesale. Also, I’m not including rare color combos in this conversation as I truly believe those still fetch premium as they should! In my reply I was reffering to the Mugello one in the ebay ad that OP posted. It is nothing special, doesn’t even have TI package and it’s not worth 45k in todays market, maybe a year or two ago he could get that asking.
