Time for rotors and pads all around

Any recommendations beside OEM from the usual sources? I’ve heard Adams mentioned elsewhere…

Me too, well it looks like the pads and rotors were replaced recently, but I want a good low dust pad. My shop recommended the Akebono pads but we can’t seem to find them for the S6. So what’s a good street pad that’ll be quiet and low dust?

I put on EBC rotors and pads on mine. Low dust and it stops better than stock

EBC USR discs with RedStuff pads. Work and look great on my car.

I still have some RS brakes in stock if you wanna try them. As an S6 owner, I can give you a much better price than I listed here: http://audirevolution.net/forum/index.php?topic=3189.0

Cheers

How do the EBC’s relate to the Akebono Euro product line? Anyone have experience with both? I’m torn as to what to run now that I found out they don’t make pads for the front, and I haven’t run anything else in ages.

Heard great things about both. Not too sure how they stack up vs each other. Look into hawk pads too. The street pads have a great bite but they don’t leave tons of dust.

Heard great things about Hawk performance and dust wise, but heard they tend to squeal and chatter.

You have to use the install grease or they will squeal. Some pads are more sensitive but the low dust pads seem to squeal if you don’t use the install grease.

thanks for the tips. I was going for the Adams until I realized it would take too long to get them. So I settled for Centric 125 hi-carbons all around with posi-quiet pads because its really for a daily driver. everything + SS brake lines for $625 on a mem day 20% off special

That’s a great deal. Adams are just cheap China blanks anyway.
