you should read the whole story there. I think it was a justified beating, and the courts and legal system agreed.
He was with a hooker in his hotel room, and they were making out. His tongue was in her mouth…and she bit down on it full strength. She wouldn’t let go. He pushed her, and then hit her to make her let go. They both admitted this in their story to the police.
Guys, post pictures of your car so we can get an idea of what your tint looks like. Saying ‘so and so 20%’ doesn’t cut it! Come on Joe…I know you love posting those post-detail pics.
that looks pretty light. Similar to my 40% HO. For those who don’t know (I didn’t before I got tinted) the % referenced is the amount of light that is allowed to go through. So 0% = opaque. 100% = transparent
this may be a good place to mention state laws on tint, mass is 35% total… if they break out the meter on you at night make sure to turn on the overhead lights
I’m almost positive you have that backwards. The way the shops in NY explain the tint % is as follows: The % = the percentage of light that can pass through the glass. So 0% tint would be opaque, they call 5% “Limo tint.” I have 35% tint on all windows sans the windshield (Llumar) and will post pics later. Here in NY they also have laws limiting how dark you can go on the front two windows, anything behind them can be 0%. The winshield is off limits with the exception of the top 4" iirc.
I got the description right but transposed the words in the summary.
Edited.
Now please delete your post so I don’t look dumb lol JK.
Good point Beem re tint laws
Ontario - there is no law. All at the officer’s discretion. He should be able to identify the front seat occupants easily. Unfortunately this leaves lots of grey area.
Personally, I thought 40% HO (which looks like 30-35% regular tint according to the HO installer) was perfect…enough to be private and protective…but light enough to let cops see the driver is a tall motherfucker in a suit, rather than a hotbox full of high school students.
Weird, on my E55 the blue hue did not make it to the absolute edge of the glass on my windows, it had a clear edge where it ended. I also scratched the inside of the driver’s glass with some type of sediment when I opened/closed the window. Tech noticed it at my next visit and fixed it. I assumed they had replaced the film not the glass. The guy I sold the car too tinted the windows the day after he had it and sent me pics. I thought the tint looked strange in color assuming he had tinted over the OEM film.
