It was at Raceway Park in NJ, didn’t think it was that impressive tbh a 6 speed S4 ran 11.1 with no grip whatsoever. I’ll post the results though. Thanks!
Not many B5s get out of the 13s anymore to be honest let alone into the 11s…and with a tip .
Not to truly change the subject, but where are you from? I’m in Central New Jersey and there’s a ton of fast S4’s here B5’s and B8’s. My old B8 was one of the first in the 11’s before it was stolen quite soon after I sold it… Unfortunately.
But there’s many high 10s/low 11s B5 S4s local to me. But I will agree there are quite a few ‘beatup’ ones around as well.
I’ve also been calling around for more information about this topic. Some say the clutches are nearly identical from the 5hp to the 6hp19 but the major difference is the torque converter design and programing is much smarter and complex. I’ll share what else I discover!

I am not sure what you’d want for some sort of proof. I took my car to the track 4 times in the Fall and saw a few other B5’s run faster than me. I don’t have their time slips or anything as I was prepping the entire time. But I wouldn’t say it’s uncommon.
I am on PJK04s and there was another S4 I saw almost every time I went that constantly ran 11.2-11.4 at 120mph+ over and over also on PJK04’s with E85.
There was also a guy who ran 10.8/10.9 on some Tial Turbos… but he unfortunately snapped an axle on his third run of the night… he wasn’t very happy. Never saw him again.
But I really don’t want to turn this into some sort of hate filled thread about any particular Audi. I am an Audi enthusiast… I enjoy every Audi platform and respect everyone’s individual build and goals.
Nobody questions what you say. The B5s have fallen off there high horse and now its now common to see a B5 loaded up with all kinds of cheap china crap that cant get out of the 13s. What all the B6 B7 and B8 S4 guys see is that the B5 guys now have the slowest cars but talk the biggest amount of trash.A big section of the b5 guys are trolls that give out terrible advice and think the ever slowing B5 is the greatest thing to ever happen. Lots of people dont know whats good or bad up or down due to so much back information over there. When you look here and on AZ the B6 B7 B8 guys all get along. We all cheer for eachother… Its just rare to see that out of a typical B5 guy. You can own a B5 and not be a b5 guy. I think thats where the comment came from
