Based on the last TMP event it seemed as though there was interested among a number of individuals to head back before the season ended so I figured I’d through out these dates and see if anyone is still interested. ;D

I would like to do some maintenance stuff to my car before I go this time. New air filter, fuel filter, plugs, coilpacks. We’ll see if I get motivated enough. I will definitely do the fuel filter since it is pretty easy and provides a good bump for a car with 40k miles.
Just wondering if I’ll have my winters on by then or if I’ll be on brick hard Michelin PSS (assuming it’s 6 degrees or something).
p.s. if I were you I would put this in the general discussion section of this site. There is only 1 B8 S4 in the GTA on AR who goes to the strip, and that’s you lol. Hopefully some B5/6/7 guys see this in General. Report my post to ‘moderator’ god and he’ll move it.
Also, you or someone should cross post this on the Canada audizine section and the B8 audiworld section…might get some guys to come.

nice one. Would love to see some B5 guys get out. Even though they are hailed as the fastest/best of the S/RS cars, the owners don’t get out to the strip much anymore. Interesting how that works.
For the record, in all the years and all the trips I’ve been to the strip, I’ve seen about 20 B5 S4s, many of which are stage 3…and only one has ever run in the 11s (11.98 at that). if you believed what you read on forums, all B5 S4s that are stage 3 would be running mid 11s at 120+ MPH with ease. Reality is that even the stage 3 guys are are mid 12 second cars in most instances, and many of which struggle to even get out of the 13s.
That sounds contentious, however when you see the story play out with your own eyes over and over, you get a better understanding of what is reality, and what is forum lore.
