Interesting. I’m wondering if some of that ‘give’ is engineered into the stock mount. I’m curious to hear your impressions.
ooh. I’m getting one as well. Going to install the Apikol diff mount myself this weekend. Is this doable on my own on ramps I wonder or would I be better off just having the dealership do it when I take it in on thursday for my 45k and stage II?

And helix, the DIY for apikol is easy, only thing you might want to do is use a floor jack to hold up the diff while you slide the bushing in. It can be muscled, feels like you need ~50 lbs of force to lift it.
I was able to get my order in before the first batch was gone.
Also installing the Apikol red insert and will do a full review once received.
Haven’t really done any reviews and I guess I feel guilty

sigh I had a 60 hour week this past week so I totally missed this…
I was running a tough mudder this weekend and missed it as well. However I’ll have a garage again when I move in two weeks, so it looks like it’s time to get the apikol diff mount and this at the same time to give myself something to do in the new house. ;D

Fedex guy showed up with this literally as I was driving car off ramps after pulley install, was too tired of wrenching to go back on them (by that I mean figuring out which screw went where on that awful underbody cover lol). Given how far back it is (can see in guide relative to AK rearmost mount), I’ll probably just get it done on a lift when I get SS lines + pads + fluid installed this week. Will report back mid-week after the tune, brakes and this mount are on there ;D

Had mine installed yesterday while the car was on a lift. Honestly, can’t really tell too much of a difference while shifting (I have S-Tronic), mostly feeling the difference of stg 2 ;D I also have the red apikol diff bushing in there.
I might say the creep was slightly harsher, but nothing definitive. Will report back after more experience.
