Was just watching a video review for the new base 911 Carrera, which now has twin turbos. At about 5:00 in the video, the reviewer does a short segment on Turbo lag, which I felt he explained very simply and clearly.
The 911 has variable turbine technology, that minimizes turbo lag. So, as far as turbo lag goes, it is probably going to be some of the least perceivable of any cars.
He does a comparison of the lag from full throttle engagement to full power, comparing a 2017 911 to a 1987 VW NA car. It would be cool if someone did a similar comparison with the newer Audi turbo sedans and the v8 and v10 cars.
