Updated Vbox list.....

I didn’t say it didn’t exist. I just couldn’t be arsed to look it up. Serve to me on silver plate please!..

…OK I guess I can go look. LOL. My bad

it’s a bit hard since you guys change tunes every 5 minutes. Race, pump, 100, 110, GIAC version 1, version 2, revised, revised again. Hard to keep up.

Touché. That’s true. I would say based on what I’ve seen it’s about a .5-.6 seconds difference

Pete it’s awesome when you see all the different crap you’ve tried on two separate B8s even.

So did they finally fix the load map so it doesn’t start closing the bypass?

Yep! Everything is fixed now. Only problem is the shift delay issue which is keeping me from going ham on the car… Austin says he’ll have a fix soon they just need to switch some things around and hopefully get a few more little goodies… I’ll be hitting the track Feb 22nd which is opening day. Hoping for mid 11 out of the car. I feel that it def has it in it.

Temperature: 45F
DA: -1400

B8.5 S4 6MT
Mods: GIAC Stage 2, Milltek Resonated Exhaust, Eurocode Headers, Roc-Euro Intake, AWE Pulley, Pete-Cooler, 93 Octane file with 93 fuel.

60-90: 3.22s
60-120: 8.39s
60-130: 10.61s

very fast for pump gas, no?

my benchmark is my own car which is about 3.8 60-90 and 9.8 60-120 in similar weather

you’re crushing those numbers

I need to get my PBOX back from DAN@JHM…there’s a couple of local cars I want to get some data on while it’s still nice and cold.

Fastest S4 pump gas time we’ve ever recorded!

This new tune from GIAC is pretty wild… Car pulls REALLY hard.

Only problem is this new file I have that shift delay shit again, so GIAC is working on fixing it…

Matter of fact my friend ran his 335is the same night…

2012 335IS with JB4 and Cobb, 60% E85/40% 93, 100% Meth Injection, Walbroh Fuel Pump, Dual Cone Intake, Map 6 with custom dyno tune, TIAL BOV conversion, Full Catless 3" Exhaust, No lift shift, Launch Control and Antilag, 23psi…

He ran a 10.26s and the only place he was quicker was 105-115mph.

Thats fkn awesome. The fast b8 records are alwsys negitive da…

Did the boost improve with the negitive da and temps…what boost are you at summer and winter…

Any chance you have gotten around to logging the latest version with the boost fixed? Just curious how the deltas in the various parameters look compared to the previous version of the GIAC Stage II tune that you had logged.

That would be interesting to see the delta between runs in different DA with the same car, same mods, same strip of road

Check out our list. Lol.

How big a difference would 19" vs 18" wheels make on 1/4 Mile times ?

Lighter(normally) better 60’(typically), rolling diameter changes slightly and might lower your trap speed(very slightly) 1-2 KMH, around 1Mph.

A lightweight 19" with good tires should be almost identical, this is what Ron(Primetime) runs. 19" with a Conti DWS and he constantly cuts 1.64-1.70 60’. I run an 18 inch rim with the SAME Conti DWS and I have cut 1.62-.168 consistently.
