Hey guys my name is Manny and I wan it to know if anyone can recommends any good wheels for my 3.0 I was looking around some 18 but I wan some wide wheels bc am putting a wide body kit on the car any suggestions I would Be appreciated.
what widebody kit?
I personally like a smaller wheel with a bigger, square sidewall on a motorsports style wheel. SSR, volk and OZ would be a good start for that style. Hankook RS3s are wide with a very square sidewall. 255/40/17 looks awesome.
widebody 3.0? Haven’t seen that yet.
Although there was that diesel B6 converted to RS4 widebody a few years back (billi)
I’ve seen pictures of a custom widebody B6 a while back, think it was ravi or something (username)? It looked not so great, it was too extreme of a widebody, nothing like the factory audi work. With my B6 I always wanted to have the fenders sliced and filled so I could have a bigger tire, and couple it with iirc the votex sideskirts that ecs was selling for dirt cheap at one point.
I’d spend the $3000 or so on something to make me faster, personally. That would get you tune + exhaust + suspension with some money left for a good looking $300/hr escort.
I have done exhaust, tune and among other things to the engine. And I think it would be cool to change the wheels and after getting then work on the body and make it look the way I imagine but I find a good website that I can check then out. I wan some wide ones in the back and the front a little smaller .
