Anyone have used cooling fans for sale or have any suggestions / referrals to some maybe? Mine failed on and it’s puking coolant out the overflow… sigh.

A quick google shows stuff on amazon/ebay for a lot less than OEM cost. Can’t speak to the authenticity or quality though.
Thanks for the suggestion - is that the right one? It’s the high speed fan, I’m told the stealer wants like a kidney and a right nut for one but those seem inordinately cheap… think my bud scored a used one for like $2-300?
you can call a parts yard and get one from an A6 is should be the same.
Hey Justin - my shop’s adamant the fan is unique to this car. OEM is backordered to Germany.
Anyone have any suggestions? Just want to fix the damn car and can’t - frustrating.
Not too sure. I have seen one in an A6 4.2 and then in the 5.2 and they look the same. With all things considered you can swap out the fan with one from an A6 and its a fan… dimensions should be close ot the same if not the same.
Looks like the shop is right.

Checked Wolf Auto Parts, they do not have that in stock. Usually pretty good with Audi parts. I see they have an Auxiliary rad on there.
