I was just thinking about this looking through some old photos. I disabled the TPMS through vag com… and there’s the secret MMI menu, ect.
Enable Hidden menu in MMI
[5F - Information Electr.]
[Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 6
change 0 to 1
Use this hidden menu at your own risk.
To get to the hidden menu, press and hold Car & Setup for about 6 seconds … and once in tread VERY carefully
Caution: Keep away from the “Bootloader”
Disable Seatbelt Warning:
[Select]
[17 - Instrument Cluster]
[07 - Coding]
Look for the 6th digit and change this to your preference as below
xxxxx0x = No Seatbelt Warning
xxxxx1x = Seatbelt Warning (EU-NCAP)
xxxxx2x = Seatbelt Warning (NAR Old)
xxxxx3x = Seatbelt Warning (NAR New)
xxxxx4x = Seatbelt Warning (EU-NCAP incl. Passenger)
xxxxx5x = Seatbelt warning (NAR Old incl. Passenger)
xxxxx6x = Seatbelt Warning (NAR New incl. Passenger)

Turn ignition off and on
How to disable TPMS (user KBG1978 from Audiforums provided)
"First, I went into the secondary fusebox and pulled the tpms fuse. The fusebox is located along the side of the glovebox that meets the door when closed. It is easier to pry open if the glove box is open. The fuse to remove is the 3rd slot on the top (black plastic not brown) fuse setup. There are pink retainer clips that span the fuse setups in my car; they easily come out and go back in with a little fidgeting. I wouldnt stress if they were missing from your car. The fuse is an orange 5 watt and it was located in the 3rd position from the left.
Next I used my Vag Com. I went first into the Can Gateway and used to the long-coding helper to deselect the tire pressure monitoring bit. You simply uncheck the box. Second I looked at every instance in the installed control module section where tire pressure came up. In my car, it was control module 17. Notably, this same module appears in several different locations. I went into the module each time I found it and subtracted 16 from the first four numbers. Specifically, the original code value was 2065288, which became 2049288.
Passenger Mirror Dip on Reverse - if supported
[Select]
[52 - Door Elec Pass.]
[07 - Coding]
Add +128 to original coding
Example - original code is 0002682 … New code is 0002810

Flip mirror adjustment to the right mirror and it should drop and give you “curb view”
Let’s keep it going…
This mod will enable the comfort features, one of which allows you to roll your windows up and down with your remote/keyfob. There is the option to open/close your sunroof also but i didn’t get that feature to work, i will troubleshoot when the weather gets better. it’s really simple but i’m a bit wordy.
First determine if you already have the comfort feature enabled. (Normally not enabled for US cars)
With your car locked press and hold the unlock button on your remote for 5 secs. If your windows roll down then
your comfort feature is already enabled.
If it’s not enabled then To enable the comfort features go to “Select Control Module” select “46-Central Conv.”
then click on “Coding”
Write down or take a picture of your “Software Coding” number mine was 4618269.
In order to enable the comfort feature just add 128 to your number, my new number is 4618397.
click the “Do it!” button to accept the change.
At this point you should be able to roll your windows down with the remote but not up.
to enable the roll up feature close the coding window to go back to 46-Central Conv. and this time select “Adaptation”.
Select Comfort Functions form the drop down menu or type in 61 in the channel field
Click Read - this shows you the current comfort value setting which is usually defaulted to 10.
enter a new comfort value setting of 15 then click yes to the warning and save your changes.
and voila!!! you’re done.
I hope this helps someone.
Awesome stuff guys!! Thanks. I tried the running light/headlight, seatbelt chime and windows… Everyhing works great so far… keep adding please.
Side note: I am performing all of these with a foxwell NT510 scanner… waiting to be able to afford VCDS and proper cable, just got wife’s old laptop so I’m getting closer to having proper program… but can’t complain about the foxwell at this point.
long time ago in vag-com i turn off shift paddles on steering wheel, they working only in manual shifting, D or S mode not.
any suggestion where they can be turn on again? ;D
