I can’t seem to find a fuse to tap that will allow my V1 to turn off with vehicle ignition. I’ve tried radio, sunroof, and the trunk socket fuses. My V1 stays powered on while the car ignition is off and alarm is set. What is going on?
Car is a B7 RS4 without the comfort package.
Edit: I tried the washerpumps fuse. Apparently that one is switched and not the sunroof fuse scratches head

I ran into the same issues when running power to my boost gauge. I probably tried 10 different locations before I found one. Can’t even remember which one anymore.
Try washer fluid pump fuse. I found several that are triggered by ignition module. Just use a little “jumper fuse holder” to supply power and find a good ground.

If you want to go fancier and a little more difficult you can also tap into the wires for the auto dimming rear view mirror. I even did a built in hidden display in the mirror for the V1 on my Audi. It was fun =)
