Vast Stg 3 Clutch SAC Wear-Pics inside

I’m new to this forum but it seems there a lot of people in here who have a lot of knowledge so I figured I’d give it a shot. Im currently running a Vast stg 3 clutch kit with LWFW and am in the process of rebuilding my trans…I would like to get someones opinion on SAC wear because it seems my SAC is all the way fully adjusted to the fully worn down spot just couldn’t find pics of any threads pertaining to what I should be looking for. I would rather replace the clutch now while the car is out and didn’t wanna go with another vast clutch but don’t really have another choice cuz i don’t wanna have to buy a whole new LWFW when i can just get there new liner for my flywheel and buy just the clutch kit. Oh by the way the clutch has only been in the car for about 30k and i never have launched nor have I taken my car to the track so heres the pic tell me what you guys think and what my clutch options could be with staying with the Vast LWFW or if any other clutch kits will bolt up to this flywheel…okay heres the pics tell me what you guys think and TIA!

Its clearly adjusted a good amount but you said you drove the car 30k so thats about what you should expect. The best thing to do is to look at teh disk and then the flywheel you might not need a new liner but you can get a scuff on the serface to help.

You don’t need to go back to vast for this if you don’t want to deal with them. There are several other shops out there that can get you a RS4 Pressure plate and a disk (vast stage 3 components). The flywheels for the B5 are not exactly one offs anymore there are like 2 companys that most people get there flywheels from. The liner is something you can get from any Audi specific shop.

Doesn’t matter Vast suck’s the largest Dick. Buy your setup from another shop & one you know will still be in business 3 months from now. Don’t waste time trying to contact those crooks you will get know where!

Yea those are my thoughts exactly ill probably just buy a different clutch kit setup that will work with my Vast LWFW…thank you for the input. It just sucks because i went Vast gung-ho on a lot of items on my vehicle because when i bought my items they were the “best” but now im stuck with shit and that i may have no person to call with issues or problems specifically my tune. Would like to at least get my tune straightened out but it took 4 revisions just to get an idle issue settled and it still not fixed just got tired of sending my ecu back and forth. But thanks fellas love this forum ill be spending more time over here!

IMO I would get that clutch out of there I’m not sure of your whole setup but my vast stage 3 isn’t holding the power of frankens and e85.

Damn that really blows to hear cuz im on FT’s and 93 now and about to start running meth…i never had the Stg 3 clutch slip before just wore down in about 35k which i would assume is normal for a stg3 clutch but yea i plan on replacing it anyways im thinking of going wit a southbend from scotty @ advanced automotion that way it will still bolt to my vast lwfw. Anybody have any good runs with southbends?
